Pierce Brosnan & Tom Hardy’s Mobland Surges on Paramount+ Streaming Charts

Pierce Brosnan and Tom Hardy star in a popular, intense crime series that’s quickly gaining viewers worldwide. The show is currently a top 10 hit on Paramount+ in 14 countries, reaching number seven in Guatemala, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

MobLand, a crime series set in London, stars Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, the leader of a powerful criminal family. Tom Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, a man who works for the family, handling problems and keeping them safe. The show centers on Da Souza’s efforts to defend the Harrigans from both outside enemies and dangers within their own organization.

I really enjoyed the first season of MobLand, and it seems most critics did too! It’s got a ‘Certified Fresh’ rating of 76% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is pretty solid. What reviewers seemed to agree on is that Tom Hardy is fantastic in it – he really brings a lot of charisma to the role. It’s not necessarily breaking new ground with the gangster genre, but it does everything right – it’s stylish, well-made, and has some truly memorable performances.

Fans of classic gangster stories will really enjoy this show, as it hits all the familiar and satisfying plot points. However, if you’re hoping for something fresh or groundbreaking, you might be let down. The show is self-aware and fully embraces its genre, even if it doesn’t always succeed perfectly.

While viewers rated the show with a 69% score on the Popcornmeter, a good number still tuned in for its premiere in March, with 2.2 million people watching.
