Pierce Brosnan enjoys a rare outing with his 6ft 4 model son Dylan as they step out for lunch in Mayfair

Pierce Brosnan and his son, Dylan, a model, were spotted having lunch together in Mayfair on Thursday. It was a rare public appearance for the pair.

The 72-year-old actor looked effortlessly stylish in a brown suede jacket and matching scarf.

He finished his outfit with black trousers, leather dress shoes, and brown sunglasses.

Dylan, a 28-year-old who is 6 feet 4 inches tall and the older of his two children with his wife, Keely Shaye Smith, kept his look relaxed in a blue sweater when he went out.

He completed his look with a pair of blue jeans, a button-up jacket and black Dr Marten boots.

The James Bond actor is a father of five as he shares Dylan and Paris, 24, with wife Keely.

He and his first wife, the late actress Cassandra Harris, had three children: Charlotte, who sadly passed away, and his sons Christopher, 53, and Sean, 42.

Last month, Dylan was spotted with his father, a former James Bond actor, as they met up with his son, Christopher, at a fancy restaurant in London.

After years of not speaking, Pierce and his son seemed to be repairing their relationship. This estrangement had been caused by his son’s severe addiction to cocaine and heroin.

According to a source who spoke with The Mirror, both individuals appeared happy and at ease while having a conversation with one of Pierce Brosnan’s sons, Dylan.

Pierce and Christopher have had their share of difficulties, but they seem to have overcome them. It was lovely to see them together.

In 2005, Pierce revealed he had completely cut off contact with his oldest son because of a serious drug addiction.

He told Playboy that Christopher is still deeply troubled and disoriented. While I know his location, he’s really struggling right now.

I’m holding onto hope and believing he’ll get better. He’s challenged everyone in our family, but he’s faced the biggest struggle of all.

‘He knows how to get out. He doesn’t want to.’

He explained that it’s difficult because you don’t fully end the relationship, but he has completely stopped contact with Christopher.

‘I had to say, “Go. Get busy living, or get busy dying”. He has my prayers.’
