As an ardent fan of the Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), I’ve been following Shannon Storms Beador’s journey with bated breath, and her latest move has me both concerned and intrigued. The 60-year-old star, who’s no stranger to life’s rollercoaster, was spotted blowing into a court-ordered ignition interlock device following her DUI arrest last year.
On Tuesday, Shannon Storms Beador breathed into a court-mandated breathalyzer device (car breathalyzer) located in her vehicle, after regaining driving privileges following her DUI arrest on September 16.
After installing a breathalyzer device that checks blood alcohol levels, the Real Housewives of Orange County star, aged 60, would no longer be able to operate her car at all.
On average, IID devices can cost around $70-$150 to install and around $60-$140 per month to lease.
On this particular day, Shannon was casually attired, carrying her phone and keys, with a black T-shirt and leggings that matched, along with a pair of sneakers – all set for her errands.
Approximately a year ago, Beador was apprehended for driving while intoxicated and hitting a residence in Newport Beach before making a hasty exit.

It’s said that the troubled social figure allegedly sustained a broken left wrist, along with additional injuries, after crashing her vehicle into a house. She has been accused of two minor crimes: hit-and-run and driving under the influence.
In the course of his 2018 divorce proceedings against Shannon, her former spouse David Beador requested a judge at the Orange County Superior Court to forbid her from drinking alcohol for eight hours prior to or while she was in the presence of their three daughters, as reported by The Blast.
59-year-old businessman’s legal documents claim that his mother recently admitted on live TV that she treats herself with alcohol as a form of self-medication.
‘That behavior is detrimental to the children.’
