The work on the Main Street, USA train station at Magic Kingdom was finished in September 2025. The project, which lasted nine months, started earlier that year. This update was part of a larger plan to keep the park in good condition and make it even better for visitors, all while keeping the station’s original, historic look and feel. It focused on both safety and improving the overall guest experience.
While the station was being renovated, several areas were temporarily unavailable to guests. Construction barriers and coverings were placed around both floors, blocking access to important spots like the main staircase and sections of the upper balcony. This meant visitors had to adjust to a different way of moving around when entering and leaving the park. The refurbishment caused a temporary change in how people walked through the area.
