Phoebe Burgess Plans to Sell Southern Highlands Home After Ex’s Baby News

Phoebe Burgess is planning to sell the expansive countryside estate she acquired after parting ways with her former spouse, Sam.

In 2021, Phoebe, who is now 36 years old, acquired a property located in the New South Wales Southern Highlands, after her high-profile breakup with footballer Sam.

The influencer recently purchased a house for 1.7 million dollars, which was advertised as ‘forthcoming’ on Ray White Bowral’s online platform this week, without any indicated price range.

As per The Daily Telegraph’s report, it was stated that Phoebe and her two kids, Poppy (age 8) and Billie (age 6), were not recognized as official residents of the house.

Instead, she stayed at her parents’ adjacent residence, where they had rented the house for roughly a year, as reported by the publication.

Phoebe’s house, known as ‘Acre Hill,’ sits peacefully on an area of about 6,949 square meters and is often referred to as a serene oasis filled with gardens.

Located towards the end of a secluded driveway, this two-story dwelling boasts a spacious four bedrooms, three complete bathrooms, and an additional powder room for convenience.

Additionally, it features a cozy slow-burning wooden fireplace that contributes to the warm, family-friendly ambiance, along with a dedicated home workspace and a separate lounge for television upstairs.

The beautiful grounds boast a chicken coop, greenhouse, and irrigation systems running through the gardens as well.

Ever since my beloved Sam parted ways with the Rabbitohs back in October 2019, my days have been filled with a longing that’s hard to put into words. In the midst of this emotional whirlwind, I found solace with my dear parents, who graciously welcomed me and my two cherished offspring into their loving home.

Raised on the estate alongside her folks, Mitch and Sarah Hooke, as well as her siblings Jemima and Harriet, she lived mere distances away from their ‘Acre Hill’ property.

At the given moment, she informed Daily Mail Australia that returning to live with her parents was among the wisest choices she’s ever made for her kids, numbering two.

‘I learned really early on that there’s a trade-off. My kids love the space,’ she said.

Billy owns an electric bicycle, and his father recently built a fun obstacle course for him in the horse paddock. Poppy enjoys spending time outdoors and expressing her creativity.

It comes as Phoebe’s ex Sam revealed that he’s expecting a second child with wife Lucy.

Last month, Lucy announced the news on Instagram by posting a collection of pictures showcasing her expanding belly, taken during their vacation in Capri.

The pair already share daughter Robbie, who they welcomed in September 2023.

Sam married Lucy in a lavish Italian wedding after two years of dating.

In June of 2023, he made the romantic gesture of proposing to his partner, who had been publicly acknowledged as his girlfriend for only nine months prior.

Meanwhile, Phoebe and Sam split in October 2019, after four tumultuous years of marriage.

In December 2018, they first went their separate ways, not long after their son, Billy, was born. However, they managed to reunite in April. Unfortunately, this reunion didn’t last long as they decided to part ways permanently six months later.

Phoebe chose to keep her married surname, Tyler, instead of returning to her maiden name, Hooke, as she wishes for her children’s last names to be consistent with hers.

In 2021, she shared with Mamamia that she takes her children to school daily, has a car emblazoned with our family surname Burgess, and since they share this name, it seems fitting that I should bear the same moniker as my kids.

Phoebe referred to the choice as ‘deciding to join a familial group’ and ‘a matter of personal inclination,’ despite being divorced.

She declared confidently, ‘I’m taking responsibility for a part of it. This is my journey, the path that led me here.’

At that moment, I made these decisions wholeheartedly, and now I wear the resulting scars with a sense of pride. It’s like they are badges of honor, symbolizing my determination and resilience.
