Phillip Schofield fails to mention his former co-host Holly Willoughby in new survival show as he takes brutal swipes at his ex-colleagues and claims they ‘threw him under the bus’

As a devoted fan who has witnessed the highs and lows of Phil Schofield’s illustrious career, I find myself intrigued by his recent foray into survival television – Cast Away. It seems that Phil is not holding back on expressing his thoughts about the telly world, but alas, his former co-star, Holly Willoughby, remains an enigma in this narrative. The way he passionately spoke about the perils of betrayal left me wondering if a certain someone was on his mind.

In his latest television production, Cast Away, Philip Schofield does not directly reference his previous co-host Holly Willoughby. However, he does take several subtle jabs at some of his past work associates.

In the 45-minute show, Ant from ITV, aged 48, along with Dec, also 49, and Joanna Lumley, aged 78, were discussed extensively, but there was no mention of Holly Willoughby at all.

In a sudden statement that might lead viewers to ponder its intended recipient, Schofield remarks: ‘If you push someone in front of a moving vehicle, you should have an exceptionally strong justification for such an action.’

This week, the former host, who has been embroiled in scandal, announced that he is participating in a self-survival program, approximately 16 months following his departure from This Morning after confessing to a consensual relationship, albeit unwise and not breaking any laws, with a junior coworker.

62-year-old Schofield reportedly declined several lucrative television opportunities, ultimately opting to join the cast of “Cast Away.” He feels this choice will enable him to tell his tale in a raw, truthful manner.

I can’t believe my beloved co-host, Ms. Willoughby, bid farewell to “This Morning” on October 23rd! For 14 incredible years, she captivated us alongside Schofield, and now the void she leaves behind is palpable.

Reports indicate that she decided to leave the program due to its transformation following her co-host’s departure, which she found disappointing. However, a rumored kidnap and murder plan reportedly pushed her over the edge, causing her to resign, according to inside sources.

Meanwhile, during the episode Schofield referred to ITV duo Ant and Dec as his ‘best mates’.

In May there were rumors that Dec Donnelly allegedly attempted to persuade a previous TV host for a return on screen, following their lengthy four-hour dinner.

Joanna Lumley also featured, sending him a ‘good luck’ message.
