Phase 6 REVEALED: Every MCU Movie & Show Confirmed!
Disney+’s series “Ironheart” has concluded and so has Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), leaving fans speculating about what’s next in the Multiverse Saga during Phase 6. The middle chapter of the Multiverse Saga kicked off in February 2023 with “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” introducing Jonathan Majors as Kang, who will serve as the MCU’s main antagonist moving forward. Previously, plans centered around Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom. Soon, Marvel Studios will initiate Phase 6 as the Multiverse Saga moves toward its conclusion with “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Secret Wars.
Every MCU Movie & Show Confirmed to Release in Phase 6
The Fantastic Four: First Steps – July 25
Starting from July 25, Friday, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 6 kicks off with “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”. This movie is set in a universe that blends retro and futuristic elements, where we meet a revamped version of Marvel’s original superhero family as they confront Galactus. The star-studded cast for “The Fantastic Four” features Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Mass-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn. Already in the works at Marvel Studios could be a follow-up for this movie.
Eyes of Wakanda – August 27
Marvel Television is set to make a significant leap in MCU timeline with the four-episode animated series on Disney+, titled “Eyes of Wakanda“. This Black Panther spin-off follows the Hatut Zaraze, a covert team of Wakandan agents who have retrieved vibranium artifacts from enemies over history.
Marvel Zombies – October 3
As a cinema enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the mind-bending saga, “What If…?”, is about to unleash its gory spectacle in an R-rated, four-episode series titled “Marvel Zombies“. This animated spin-off delves into the struggles of the remaining superheroes in a post-apocalyptic Marvel Universe.
Nine distinguished actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will lend their voices to their respective characters, and surprisingly, Mahershala Ali’s Blade is set to transform into Moon Knight’s Fist of Khonshu in this grisly tale.
Wonder Man – December
In December, the initial live-action Disney+ series following “Ideas Unlimited” (after “Ironheart“), starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, will kick off its eight-episode run. This half-hour Hollywood spoof comedy features the transformation of an actor into a superhero and the return of a beloved MCU character from “Iron Man 3“.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 – March 2026
In the world of superheroes I inhabit, the battle between Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin is about to escalate in “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2. As Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, intensifies his crusade against vigilantes across New York City, I, Daredevil, will be gathering allies to counter this threat. A key figure joining our ranks will be Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones – another hero with a knack for taking down bad guys. Can’t wait to see what unfolds!
Spider-Man: Brand New Day – July 31, 2026
Brand New Day” will mark Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, five years after the suspenseful ending of “No Way Home”. A significant part of “Spider-Man 4” might involve Spider-Man joining forces with Jon Bernthal’s Punisher to combat Mark Ruffalo’s Savage Hulk, which is one of the most unusual concepts that the MCU has come up with so far.
X-Men ’97 Season 2 – 2026
In 2026, Season 2 of X-Men ’97 is set to return, featuring more than a dozen mutant characters, both heroes and villains, continuing from the time-traveling cliffhanger in the previous season. However, it’s important to note that the series will have a change in leadership, as Beau DeMayo, the original showrunner, has been replaced by Matthew Chauncey from What If…?, due to his termination for serious misconduct.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 – 2026
In addition to “Brand New Day”, another exciting piece of web-slinging content set for 2026 is the return of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man for Season 2 on Disney+. This sequel will further explore Norman Osborn’s transformation into a villain, while also introducing a super-powered Gwen Stacy in keeping with the style of the “Spider-Verse”.
It appears that Marvel might be planning to release new seasons for shows like “X-Men ’97”, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”, and “Daredevil: Born Again” annually, which increases the likelihood of these series continuing into Phase 6 in 2027.
The Punisher – 2026
Following the conclusion of “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2, Jon Bernthal will once again take on the role of The Punisher in a Disney+ Special Presentation. In this project, Bernthal will collaborate with Reinaldo Marcus Green, director of “King Richard,” to co-write a special that bears resemblance to “Werewolf by Night.” This seems to set up an confrontation between the anti-hero and a formidable female crime boss antagonist.
Vision Quest – 2026
As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to announce that Paul Bettany’s White Vision is back in action in the upcoming Disney+ series, “Vision Quest” – a compelling sequel to “WandaVision”. This exciting journey sees White Vision grappling with his quest to regain his memories and humanity. In addition to our beloved Vision, other artificial intelligences crafted by Stark will make an appearance in the 2026 series. Notably, James Spader reprises his role as Ultron, setting the stage for his significant future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Avengers: Doomsday – December 18, 2026
All paths in the Multiverse Saga are converging towards the upcoming blockbuster movie “Avengers: Doomsday“, set to hit cinemas during the next holiday season. A whopping 61 characters and actors, including members from the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Thunderbolts, are rumored to be part of this star-studded cast. As the menace of Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom casts a shadow across the Multiverse, these heroes will join forces to combat the impending danger.
Untitled Mystery Movie – July 23, 2027
Marvel Studios is yet to reveal details about a movie scheduled for July 23, 2027, which could potentially sit between Avengers 5 and Avengers 6. With Doctor Strange 3, Thor 5, Midnight Sons, Blade, and Shang-Chi 2 already on the horizon, fans can’t help but wonder what exciting secrets Marvel Studios might be holding for this upcoming, as yet unnamed blockbuster film.
Avengers: Secret Wars – December 17, 2027
A year after the thrilling finale of “Avengers: Doomsday,” the story will pick up and reach its conclusion in December 2027 with “Secret Wars.” This epic tale is set to bring together heroes from various universes for a grand showdown on Battleworld, where they’ll face off against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, wrapping up the Multiverse Saga.
