Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate Bringing Scrolling Brawler Action to Xbox This April
Rocket Panda Games has shared that the updated version of “Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate,” originally slated for a February release, will now debut in April after a postponement. Originally designed as a side-scrolling 2D beat ’em up back in 2013, this new iteration is set to launch soon!
Initially, Producer Masaki Sakari expressed his heartfelt apologies to those patiently waiting for the game’s launch. In a statement, he mentioned that although the offline part of the game is almost ready, there have been unexpected hold-ups in setting up and testing the multiplayer aspects.
Sakari mentions that introducing cross-play in the game has proven to be a particularly tough task, however, they are determined to give their fantastic fans the opportunity to play together at the game’s release. This implies that Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds will now debut on April 17th across Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC platforms.
