Multi-millionaire Peter Kay has built up a huge property empire worth a staggering £23million.
The 52-year-old comedian, who previously held jobs at a bingo hall and a toilet paper factory, now has £36.6 million in savings, according to recent financial reports.
Records show that Hussein Traders, a property company registered in Oldham and owned by Peter, currently holds £23.4 million in investments.
The funnyman is the UK’s best comedian, ahead of Ricky Gervais and Michael McIntyre.
A financial expert told The Sun that Peter’s success in entertainment and his smart investing demonstrate his dedication to building wealth.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen this pattern many times – successful people often invest heavily in real estate. And this comedian is no different! He’s built up quite the property portfolio, putting him in the same league as some major movie stars and music legends when it comes to real estate holdings.

Daily Mail has contacted Peter’s representatives for comment.
Even though Peter has built a large and successful business, he lives a simple life. He owns a house worth £900,000 in Bolton and a charming vacation home in Ireland.
Peter has owned a country house for nearly 20 years. His mother, Deirdre, is originally from Northern Ireland.
In a 2009 interview, he shared that he prefers to stay out of the spotlight and live a quiet life. He still enjoys simple things, like getting a bottle of Tizer from the local late-night shop. Staying in his hometown of Bolton is very important to him, as every street holds a special memory or story. He considers Bolton his true home.
It’s easy to let your job consume you, but for me, my family and where I live are what truly matter most.
The Kays’ current home, where they live with their sons Charlie, 21, and Finley, 19, is just a short ten-minute drive from the house where he grew up – the same house he often fondly jokes about in his stand-up routines.
He married his teenage sweetheart, Susan, in 2001, shortly after his popular show, Phoenix Nights, began airing. Susan used to work at the local Boots store when they first met.
Comedian Peter is committed to giving away his considerable wealth. He recently announced that all earnings from his upcoming 12 shows will be donated to organizations supporting cancer research and patients.

We’re supporting several cancer charities, including Children With Cancer UK, Teenage Cancer Trust, Kidney Cancer UK, Blood Cancer UK, Bowel Cancer UK, Prostate Cancer UK, DKMS UK, Ovarian Cancer Action, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Anthony Nolan, The Brain Tumour Charity, and Breast Cancer UK.
His tour, called Better Late Than Never, begins in December and will conclude with a performance at the AO Arena in Manchester next August.
He announced on The One Show that his current tour is coming to an end, and all the money earned from the final shows will be donated to twelve different charities.
It’s likely everyone knows someone impacted by this, and I’m hoping people will get behind it – that’s why I wanted to speak up.
It’s not about whether you like me personally – I’m hoping you’ll come to support these important charities.
