Pete Wicks Unveils His Luxe Bachelor Pad After Split from Maura Higgins

After parting ways with Maura Higgins, Pete Wicks has recently relocated to a cozy one-bedroom apartment, designed especially for bachelors.

37-year-old ex-Strictly celebrity moved to an apartment in east London on Valentine’s Day, following news that his relationship with Maura had ended.

Now, Pete, who rents a home that amounts to £2,400 per month, will reside at a distance from his former girlfriend, aged 34. She has recently acquired a £1.25 million property in Essex following her participation on ITV’s reality show, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Pete has relocated to a modern apartment complex, marking a fresh phase in his life. This building features an exercise facility, rooftop gardens, a bar, and it welcomes pets, making it ideal for the reality TV personality’s two French rescue bulldogs, Eric and Peggy.

Sharing on Instagram Story, Pete posted pictures; first, he was seen moving boxes into an elevator, followed by a snapshot of his fresh perspective from his new flat in London.

Last Friday, it was disclosed that Pete and Maura have decided to end their relationship, a bond that became evident as they stood by one another during their performances on Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity.

Reports suggest that the couple’s romance took an unexpected turn when Maura found out that Pete was communicating with other females, which he has since disputed.

Previously known Love Island contestant chose a fiery, symbolic gown to move past her heartache at the renowned eatery Sheesh in Mayfair on Valentine’s Day. However, she expressed some displeasure when questioned about her former partner, Pete.

She responded with “I’m not sure, I think he might be preoccupied” when asked about Pete’s whereabouts. Later, it was disclosed that individuals close to the Strictly semi-finalist were taken aback as he was ‘surprised’ by the unfounded allegations.

On Valentine’s Day, Maura arranged for a bouquet of red roses to be delivered to herself, along with a card that said: ‘To Myself, Love Myself’. Later, she uploaded stylish photos onto her Instagram profile accompanied by the caption: ‘I was left on Read’.

In the past, she expressed her fondness for him on a podcast, while Pete referred to her as both “super-intelligent” and “extremely witty.

In response to questions regarding his relationship with Maura, the podcast host and writer clarified that they had been acquainted for a period of six years.

He stated: “We are nearly there. However, part of being under the spotlight is that people tend to presume you must share every aspect of your personal life, which is something I’ve always refrained from doing.

While Pete was participating on Strictly Come Dancing, there were rumors about him and his professional partner Jowita Przystal being romantically involved. However, both of them denied these speculations, claiming they were just friends.

Nevertheless, they forged a strong connection, managing to advance to the semifinals, all while Pete consistently received lower scores on the scoreboard.
