Pete Wicks, known from the show The Only Way Is Essex, has responded after officially going public with his romance. He’s dating Olivia Attwood, who he works with at Kiss FM and also appears on TOWIE.
For some time, people had been speculating that Olivia and someone else were dating, especially after her separation from her husband, Bradley Dack. Olivia admitted the rumors were true, playfully calling it an “open secret,” but stated she didn’t plan on publicly announcing the relationship herself.
Pete publicly revealed they were dating with an Instagram post, writing, “Looks like I had to be the one to say it.”
Pete explained that when deciding how to share the news on his podcast, Staying Relevant, he asked himself what Liv would want. He shared this with his co-host and close friend, Sam Thompson.
We had talked about it beforehand, and I just decided to take a chance and go for it. The most important thing to me was getting a picture with Liv and making sure I didn’t make her feel uncomfortable.
