Pete Wicks Relieved After Split from Maura Higgins Amidst Kissing Drama!

It appears that Pete Wicks is said to be relieved that his short-lived romance with Maura Higgins didn’t continue, as he seeks to steer clear of any unnecessary turmoil.

Previously on TOWIE, the star turned 37, and Maura, aged 34, were first rumored to be together last August. However, TopMob exclusively shared that they split in February. Later, Maura was spotted kissing Danny Jones from McFly at the BRITs.

Reports suggest that the media attention generated by her kiss with Danny is something Pete explicitly seeks to steer clear of.

A source told OK! magazine: ‘This sort of attention is exactly what Pete doesn’t want. 

As a former TOWIE cast member, I’ve witnessed similar media whirlwinds surrounding relationships, and it’s not the kind I aspire for in my own life.

It’s unfortunate since it might make him defensive again, and all he’s looking for is someone he can sincerely care about.

TopMob has contacted Pete’s representative for comment.   

This week, during a heartfelt interview on Thursday’s episode of Lorraine, Pete chose not to comment on his ex-partner Maura’s kiss with Danny, which had occurred earlier in the week.

Previously recognized Towie cast member made an appearance on the ITV program, discussing his personal struggles with mental health as a contribution to the show’s fresh initiative titled “March for Mental Health” during the month of March.

In a courageous move, Peter shared his personal challenges following the passing of his grandmother Doreen, which occurred in 2022, during an open conversation with Lorraine. This is in reference to Love Island star Maura and her split with Pete.

During our conversation, he failed to bring up his ex-girlfriend Maura’s kiss with the 38-year-old McFly member Danny, which occurred during the BRIT Awards on Saturday evening.

Previously in the past few days, a video was provided to The Sun that depicted Maura and Danny, a man married to Georgia since 2014, appearing affectionate at a location in London.

Danny and Georgia share a seven-year-old son called Cooper. 

While on Lorraine’s show, he explained to the host the reasons behind his desire to engage with the significant political movement.

According to Pete, he adores nature and enjoys being outside, and this seems like the ideal moment for such activities.

‘The sun is shining, there’s a little bit of Spring and it makes me feel better…

This moment offers a great chance for introspection, allowing some personal space, considering it crucial in our hectic daily routines, to pause and consider both your current situation and your mental state.

Pete candidly shared his personal struggles: ‘I’ve had a difficult journey. I’ve made many mistakes along the way, often because I didn’t grasp who I truly am and couldn’t articulate my emotions effectively. And I believe that many men face similar challenges.’

People, regardless of gender, may struggle with comprehending their own feelings or fail to take the time to do so, and this can manifest differently in them.

‘For me it used to be anger, because that was the only kind of emotion that I understood. 

Over time, particularly during the past few years, and as a result of experiences such as the passing of my grandmother and other life events, I’ve had the opportunity to delve deeper into understanding myself more profoundly.

Three years back, Pete parted ways with Doreen, stirring up emotions among Strictly viewers as he honored her memory through a heartfelt tribute dance with his partner Jowita Przystal.
