On Tuesday, it was observed that Pete Wicks made an appearance for the first time; he was going to Strictly Come Dancing practice sessions, following his confirmation of his relationship with Maura Higgins.
36-year-old TOWIE icon and 33-year-old Love Island celebrity locked lips for a heartwarming smooch during the Pride of Britain Awards in London on Monday evening, continuing to celebrate well into the night.
Pete exuded positivity as he confidently strode outside, donning a sleek black bomber jacket that layered over a gray tank top, revealing his intricately tattooed torso.
The podcast star opted for a comfortable pair of wide legged trousers and black trainers as he arrived at the studio to meet partner Jowita Przystał.
Pete appeared prepared for training, securing his long brown hair into a low ponytail and shouldering a spacious bag.
Following Maura and Pete, who initially sparked speculation in August and subsequently kept a private life, exchanged a sweet gesture in a secluded area during the Pride of Britain Awards afterparty.
At the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Maura was spotted giving Pete a playful peck on the nose. After that, they became more affectionate, exchanging passionate kisses on the lips, in the Red Bar.
It’s revealed that they are in a relationship some time later, leaving fans puzzled as Maura was seen getting cozy with Kai Widdrington during the awards ceremony earlier.
Maura raised eyebrows as she was spotted getting handsy with Kai at the hotel.
Kai, aged 29, and Maura seemed incredibly close as they playfully interacted following the event, with the professional dancer affectionately embracing the presenter, holding her closely.
At one point, Kai appeared to twirl Maura before heading into a different room together.
At the moment, it’s thought that Kai is currently unattached after parting ways with dance partner Nadiya Bychkova.
Over the past few weeks, there have been whispers about a romantic connection between Pete and his dance partner on Strictly Come Dancing, Jowita Przystał.
Nevertheless, Pete and Maura appeared affectionate following months of speculation about their relationship after being seen sharing a passionate kiss outside the Broadwick Hotel in Soho during an outdoor lunch in August.
The day before the pair locked lips, Pete showed off his impressive Strictly moves as he danced with Maura in a new TikTok video.
In a bold action, Pete showed off his strength by lifting Maura off her feet with just one hand, grabbing her leg. She lost her balance and ended up in his embrace, both of them gazing deeply into each other’s eyes. Maura humorously titled the video: ‘A few bumps on the head later…’
Previously, Pete and Maura could be spotted having a good time during an evening out at The Ship in Wandsworth, accompanied by his companions from Strictly Come Dancing.
A bystander privately shared with TopMob that the duo seemed to be unbreakably close. They were often seen whispering into each other’s ears and even entwining their legs, all while sharing a drink with Wynne Evans, Tom Dean, and Jamie Borthwick.
In amazement, I found myself witnessing an unexpectedly intimate moment between them. I’d always sensed a genuine connection between him and Jowita, but their closeness took me by surprise.
At a certain moment, they appeared to be leaning closely, almost balancing on top of each other, without showing the slightest concern about being observed by others.
It might seem surprising, but despite getting eliminated from Strictly, Pete seemed completely smitten with Maura throughout the evening.

Maura, too, demonstrated her backing for Pete by joining his “Staying Relevant” podcast tour, donning a t-shirt emblazoned with his likeness.
The model wore a custom T-shirt featuring an image of them kissing at the hotel, with the phrase “WE CAN’T BE FRIENDS” boldly displayed on it.
In that photo, I’m seen laughing and giving a friendly hug to Sam Thompson, who happens to be Pete’s best friend. The caption reads, “What an entertaining evening… You knocked it out of the park, @samthompson @stayingrelevantpodcast.
Last year, the pair were filmed getting cosy at Grosvenor House in London.
In the video taken in October 2023, Maura and Pete were found huddled in a corner of a room, apparently capturing photos with Maura’s phone, suggesting they were snapping selfies together.
During a seemingly profound discussion, they were observed locking eyes, while Maura beamed broadly at the celebrity, who was animatedly gesturing with his hands throughout their talk.
Their encounter happened a year before Maura, who split from American stuntman boyfriend Bobby Holland Hanton earlier this year, wrapped her arms around Pete’s neck and kissed him during their recent romantic luncheon together.
