Pete Wicks is left fuming over hilarious prank as one of his employees jokes she is quitting to star on Love Island

On Tuesday, The Staying Relevant Podcast posted a riotous video on their Instagram page showing an amusing incident where Pete Wicks got tricked by one of his team members.

Originally a cast member of TOWIE, now 37 years old, and often co-hosting with his longtime friend Sam Thompson, aged 32, on their podcast, had no idea he was being recorded when an unexpected revelation was made by one of his employees.

At the start of the video, she subtly revealed to Pete that she’d been discussing potential appearances on Love Island with a producer, a revelation which took him by surprise and left him speechless.

Looking ‘nervously’ at Pete, she said: ‘So Pete, I actually do have another thing to tell you.’ 

Pete murmured softly, “Goodness gracious,” beneath his breath, maintaining a lowered gaze as he jotted down notes, waiting for her to carry on.

She mentioned: ‘In truth, I’m feeling slightly apprehensive about this… I’ve had discussions with a Love Island production team, and they’ve proposed that I travel on the following Friday for the Sunday episode.’

In a speechless state, Pete responded with a statement of disbelief: “You’re not joining Love Island?” To which Annalise clarified: “Yes, I am.

After that, Pete grumbled angrily: “Go away, Annalise,” to which she responded, “I actually am, I’ve been quite anxious to share this with you.

Still agitated, Pete exclaimed: “Are you okay up there in your head? Could it be that this is why you’ve seemed so distracted in May? Perhaps because you’ve been busy with auditions rather than gallivanting across Europe.

Annalise cheekily replied: ‘No, no no no no I done it on my lunch break.’ 

After a shift in his stance, Pete asked: “Let’s pause for a moment, are you genuinely keen on proceeding with this?” To which Annalise replied affirmatively: “Absolutely, I am.

Later on, Pete displayed a tender aspect when he rose to embrace Annalise, expressing: “I’m genuinely thrilled for you. Take all the time you require.

The pair shared a sweet hug as Annalise replied: ‘Aw, I wasn’t expecting that.’

Stepping back, I chuckled slightly before saying, “Oh, absolutely not! It’s just… mind-boggling, really.

Annalise replied: ‘I mean it’s obviously not great timing, and it’s been a really tough decision.’ 

Pete then said: ‘Does that mean you’re leaving us?’ 

Indeed, I’ll still be here the following week. However, it won’t be a permanent goodbye if everyone is planning on keeping me around.

Pete said: ‘Well you’re not going to want to f*****g work here if you’ve done that.’ 

Denying that she would leave her job, she said: ‘No, I’ll still work here.’ 

Pete kindly responded, “If you’d like to continue working here, the position is available to you. However, I must say, it seems quite absurd.

Annalise said: ‘I’ve literally watched it since like series one, I’m obsessed, like I love it.’ 

Pete playfully quipped, “I’ve been watching crime documentaries ever since they first appeared on Netflix, but I still haven’t managed to commit a crime myself.

The room burst into chuckles upon his comment: “However, I’m genuinely thrilled for you if that’s truly your wish, and it’s what you rightfully deserve. Everyone will undoubtedly rally around you in support.”

This version maintains the original meaning while using more polite language to express the sentiment.

‘I might just leave, let me explain my plan. I’m going to show up, should I introduce myself to the family as well?’

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share the thrilling news that the island dwellers are granted a glimpse of their loved ones during their stay. And oh, the charm! When Pete whispered, “I’ll make my way to be your companion,” it was like music to my ears.

He added: ‘Is this serious?’ and Annalise cheekily smiled replying: ‘No’. 

Shaking his head and looking lost for words, Pete simply said: ‘F*****g c***s.’ 

After Pete presented himself elegantly during a Dogs Trust fundraiser held at the Kennel Club in London on Tuesday, a humorous prank video has followed suit.

The longtime TV personality plays an active role in various projects aimed at assisting the Dogs Trust charity.

Additionally, he has produced a series titled “For Dogs Sake” for the Dogs Trust, resulting in a substantial rise in adoption application numbers.

For the charity event, Pete exuded elegance in a stylish navy blue pinstriped suit, featuring a double-breasted jacket and coordinating pants.

During the occasion, he matched his brown leather loafers with a sharp outfit while flashing a smile for the photographers.

At the gathering, Pete was accompanied by several notable figures, among them being his dance partner from Strictly Come Dancing, Jowita Przystal, who is 30 years old.

Last year, there were whispers of a romantic connection between them while they were working together on the program. Yet, both individuals have explicitly stated that they are not in a relationship, insisting instead that their bond is purely platonic and based on friendship.

As an over-the-moon admirer, I can’t help but express my awe as I witnessed Jowita radiate elegance in her striking black-and-white mini dress, adorned with a captivating V-neckline that plunged deep.
