Pete Wicks ditches Strictly training as he jets to Italy ‘for 24 hours’ to attend Vicky Pattison’s lavish wedding – after sparking romance rumours with dance partner Jowita Przystal
As a longtime fan of Strictly Come Dancing and a self-proclaimed reality TV enthusiast, I must say, I was quite surprised by Pete Wicks’ performance this past weekend. Having watched the show for years, I can confidently say that a score of 17 is not something any contestant aspires to achieve. It seems that even the judges were left a bit perplexed by his routine.
Pete Wicks disclosed that he traveled to Italy on Wednesday for “a day’s time,” while posting a video from his good friend Vicky Pattison’s elaborate second wedding celebration.
Originally from “TOWIE,” the star unfortunately couldn’t participate in essential Strictly Come Dancing practices with his dance partner, Jowita Przystal, due to a unique responsibility he had at the wedding – he was assigned a significant role during the ceremony.
Earlier this week, it was disclosed by ex-Geordie Shore cast member Vicky, aged 36, that Pete has been assigned the role of ‘flower girl’ in her upcoming remarriage to husband Ercan Ramadan.
In the video, the podcast host was smartly attired in a stylish black tuxedo and walked confidently down a large outdoor stairway, casually puffing on a cigarette.
He wore his long brunette locks neatly tied back and opted for a pair of sunglasses as he walked towards the camera.

Vicky and Eran tied the knot officially in Marylebone in August, surrounded by their loved ones.
Currently, they are preparing for an elegant celebration of their marriage in the beautiful region of Puglia. This spectacular event is set to air on E4’s upcoming series titled Vicky Pattison: A Grand Geordie Wedding.
During their conversation about remarriage, Vicky shared with Lorraine that she is feeling ‘less anxious’ this time compared to before, and also disclosed that she and Pete were unaware he would be participating in the BBC competition when they first got together.
She informed Lorraine Kelly, “Pete has enthusiastically taken on the job as the flower girl. Tonight, I’m certain he’ll dazzle us with some amazing strides as he makes his way down the aisle.
She mentioned that since they learned about his commitment for Strictly, our initial plan was for him to attend our wedding. As a result, he will be quickly flying in and out.
‘He’s a really good friend so this has been conflicting for him.’
After Pete and Jowita finish learning their Strictly dance for week two, which was a Paso Doble set to The Prodigy’s Breathe on Saturday, they continue to practice.
Following his performance on Saturday night, Pete appeared visibly disappointed when the judges only awarded him a total of 17 points.
On Tuesday, following Pete’s performance of a cozy dance routine alongside his partner Jowita, they recorded a heartwarming dog-walking sequence for Strictly in Essex.
Earlier this month, there were whispers of a romantic connection between the TOWIE star and the professional dancer, both aged 30, as they were seen attending the National Television Awards together.
On Tuesday, they frequently wrapped their arms around each other while walking Pete’s cherished dogs.
In a single delightful moment, the dancing duos were beaming with joy and found it hard to tear their gaze away from each other while chatting.
As I walked hand-in-hand with Pete, I couldn’t help but feel like a fashion icon myself, striding confidently in my chic cropped beige trench coat and stylish slate grey top.
She teamed the coat with a pair of dark blue flared denim jeans and sported a pair of black boots.
To finish off her outfit, the woman donned a coffee-colored cowboy hat while allowing her hair to cascade freely.
Meanwhile, her dance partner Pete sweetly matched her ensemble as he sported a cream cowboy hat.
He covered up from the cold in a yellow jacket and sported a smart white polo shirt.
The reality TV star completed his look with a pair of black denim jeans and smart brown suede shoes.
The star was also pictured puffing on a cigarette as they took a quick break from filming.
