Pete Wicks, after some hesitation, confessed that he feels deeply for a new, enigmatic lady, approximately half a year following his split from Maura Higgins.
36-year-old celebrity from The Only Way is Essex, admitted his feelings for a chat on the Staying Relevant podcast hosted by his friend Sam Thompson (aged 33).
He underwent a polygraph examination, during which he was connected to a lie detector, and was asked a sequence of questions by Sam.
Sam asked: ‘Are you in love with somebody right now?’
As Pete denied it, the polygrapher signaled a lie by giving a negative gesture, which led him to playfully taunt his budding relationship.
An excited Sam said: ‘Ahhh I knew it! And that’s all we’re going to say.’
Upon being questioned about his deceit, Pete confessed candidly, “It seemed to pop into my mind spontaneously; it was simply untrue.” (Removed the profanity for a more professional and polite tone)
Sam was thrilled by the news, nearly leaping from his chair, exclaiming, “Pete has fallen in love! Find her! Find her!
‘Pete’s in love secretly and I think I know who it is.’
Pete said, “You are aware of who it is. I’ve already shared the details with you, but she hasn’t responded.
The irate television personality exclaimed, “What’s the reason for including that item? It wasn’t part of the list I had prepared!
Despite Sam’s excitement, no further details – including the mystery woman’s name – were revealed.
An uncomfortable Pete asked: ‘Are we f****** done with me now?’
In my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, my previous personal relationship with someone named Maura has come to an end, amidst claims of infidelity. However, I am yet to publicly acknowledge any new romantic involvement in my life.
Last year in August, Pete and Maura were initially connected, yet they parted ways as a couple in February. Subsequently, Maura was spotted locking lips with Danny Jones from McFly during the BRIT Awards.
During that period, Pete chose to avoid the chaos by taking a pre-arranged lavish vacation to Dubai as planned.
According to a source, Pete no longer has any interest in Maura. He seems unfazed by the recent drama involving her, as he has already moved on.
