Perrie Edwards has announced that she’s getting back onstage following the launch of her solo endeavors, as she’s slated to put on a show at The Hundred Final.
On August 31, the ex-member of Little Mix, now aged 31, is set to perform at Lord’s Cricket Ground to conclude the sports event that starts on August 5.
Last year, Perrie’s first solo single “Forget About Us” made a strong entry into the UK top 10, and she excitedly announced that she intends to present a full-scale show during her upcoming performance.
2021 marks the commencement of the fifth year for The Hundred, featuring a series of matches accompanied by live performances from both rising artists and well-known stars in the music industry at each of the eight host venues.
‘I’m bringing the whole shebang – dancers, great tunes and amazing staging – everything!’ she said.
‘An electric crowd, amazing sport in a truly iconic venue: I can’t think of a better Sunday night.
I’m determined to pull out all the stops, ensuring this event becomes an extraordinary memory for everyone. Taking the stage at the final competition promises to be a remarkable encounter. Looking forward to meeting you there!
For five consecutive years, The Hundred has teamed up with BBC Introducing to carefully select their music acts.
This partnership aims to assist unrecognized, emerging, and off-the-beaten-path artists throughout the United Kingdom, offering them an opportunity to showcase their talent on stages within some of the country’s most prominent cricket stadiums.

Perrie explained: “I’ve been diagnosed with panic disorder, which means I have an intense fear of experiencing a panic attack. A few years back, I began to endure frequent and severe panic attacks.
After that, I started to dread the possibility of another occurrence due to thinking, “If I’m alone and experience another panic attack, I could potentially pass away, with no one around to offer assistance.
She openly stated, “I’m always accompanied, that’s how it is. Always. I’m never alone because I dislike the sensation of being on the verge of extinction.

‘I’m not implying it’s either good or bad, but rather that he’s not accustomed to being in a band. However, what I truly appreciate is singing, making music, and the entire creative process – that part is absolutely fantastic!’
When queried about the ups and downs of her job, she affirmed that performing on stage remains her greatest passion.
Perrie was overjoyed, expressing that there’s nothing more delightful for her than simply singing and performing, as if she were completely carefree, especially when she’s on stage.
Here’s my attempt: “I’ve got to admit, starting from zero isn’t easy for me. And with the big stage being a distant dream at the moment, the grind to reach that level is tough. You understand, right? I’m just yearning to be there.
