Perrie Edwards cradles her baby bump in sweet Christmas snaps with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and son Axel as she nears her due date

Perrie Edwards, who is expecting a baby, showed off her growing bump in some beautiful Christmas photos taken in front of her tree.

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, 32, shared that she’s feeling happy and grateful after a cozy Christmas Day spent at home in her pajamas with her fiancé, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and their four-year-old son, Axel.

Perrie looked radiant and glowing in her matching loungewear as she neared her due date. 

Merry Christmas! We’ve had a wonderfully exciting day filled with delicious food and Christmas cheer. The house is a bit of a mess, and everyone is happily exhausted – we’ve all been wearing pajamas all day!

Axel’s hair is really messy, I’ve eaten way too much and feel huge, I definitely couldn’t fit in another bite of chocolate, and I’m so relaxed I can barely move off the couch… but honestly, I feel incredibly happy and grateful.

Perrie and her fiancé Alex announced their joyful news in a sweet Instagram post in September. 

The singer of “Forget About Us” shared the happy news that she’s expecting a baby, appearing in a sweet video with her partner, Alex, and their son, Axel.

She penned in the caption of her post: ‘Guess what hunnies…’

Perrie Edwards showcased lyrics from her new song, ‘If He Wanted To He Would,’ printed on a white T-shirt, revealing it after turning to display her growing baby bump.

Friends and fans quickly congratulated her in the comments after she recently shared details about a challenging period in her life.

Perrie recently opened up after two heartbreaking miscarriages before welcoming Axel. 

She spoke about her devastating losses on an episode of Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast.

Perrie revealed she experienced a miscarriage early in her first pregnancy. She found out when she began bleeding and went to see a doctor.

It broke my heart to hear that, just a year after welcoming her beautiful ‘rainbow baby’ Axel, she found out she was expecting again. Sadly, she then lost that little one way too soon, at 24 weeks. It’s just devastating to think about.

Speaking about her son, Perrie said: ‘Axel’s a rainbow baby.

I experienced a very early miscarriage with my first pregnancy. I still remember when I found out I was pregnant.

Soon after that, I started bleeding and went to the hospital for a scan. The results showed I had lost the baby.

I realized I might have imagined it, or perhaps the test result was incorrect. I remember attending the appointments alone, with no one else present.

It broke my heart to hear Perrie talk about her experience. She shared that after her miscarriage, she was incredibly anxious throughout her pregnancy with Axel. She just desperately wanted to reach the 12-week scan and feel a little more secure, and honestly, I completely understand why. It was so brave of her to open up about how much she struggled.

She shared that she absolutely loved being pregnant with her son, Axel, and considered it a very happy time in her life. She really enjoyed carrying her babies.

It was a wonderful experience, but I was anxious to reach the 12-week mark. I really wanted to get through that initial period. Once each scan showed everything was okay, the rest of the pregnancy was pure joy – it was absolutely perfect.

Perrie shared the devastating news that she had another miscarriage after a scan at 20 weeks. She had become pregnant again while preparing for Little Mix’s final tour in 2022.

She went on to explain that they became pregnant again shortly after, less than a year later, in fact. Axel hadn’t even started walking when they found out.

I remember realizing I might be pregnant while rehearsing for Little Mix’s final tour. I just didn’t feel well – I had every symptom you could imagine, and that’s when it hit me.

We had a scan at 20 weeks, although we were actually 22 weeks pregnant, and it was the worst day of my life – absolutely terrible.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve learned to trust my intuition, and in this instance, I knew something wasn’t right during the scan. The technician kept repeating the same checks, and honestly, it felt surreal. It was like time slowed down – a truly disorienting experience, almost like I was watching it all happen to someone else. I’d never felt so detached from my body before.

Perrie welcomed her son Axel into the world on August 21, 2021.

The Little Mix star and Alex started dating in 2016 and they got engaged in 2022.

Perrie shot to fame on the eighth series of The X Factor in 2011.
