It Was Just an Accident, the perfectly-rated revenge thriller, has confirmed its UK release date.

The movie, penned and helmed by renowned Iranian director Jafar Panahi, tells the story of Vahid (played by Vahid Mobasseri), an ordinary mechanic. He crosses paths with Eghbal (Ebrahim Azizi), a man whom he believes could be his previous cellmate from prison.

In believing Eghbal is the cruel man from his past, Vahid assembles several ex-prisoners with the intention of verifying his identity. Together, they explore Tehran with the alleged oppressor in their midst, leaving the group with a difficult decision: whether to take the situation into their own hands.
