Disney has announced the titles for all the episodes in season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which is great news for fans of the books! The author of the original Percy Jackson series, Rick Riordan, is also a producer on the TV show, ensuring it stays true to the source material.
The author is famous for writing great fantasy stories, and he also includes a lot of humor, as seen in the funny episode titles from the first season.
With the second season of Percy Jackson almost here, the episode titles have been announced. Like last season, they’re funny and designed to get viewers excited about the characters and what happens next.
The first episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 is titled “I Play Dodgeball with Cannibals.”
Here are the titles of the remaining episodes: episode 2 is called “Demon Pigeons Attack,” episode 3 is “We Board the Princess Andromeda,” episode 4 is “Clarisse Blows Up Everything,” episode 5 is “We Check In to C.C.’s Spa & Resort,” episode 6 is “Nobody Gets the Fleece,” episode 7 is “I Go Down with the Ship,” and episode 8 is “The Fleece Works Its Magic Too Well.”

As a big fan of the Percy Jackson books, I always get a kick out of the episode titles – they’re actually taken straight from the chapter headings in The Sea of Monsters, which is the second book in the series! It’s a fun little detail that Rick Riordan fans will definitely appreciate.
The episodes in the first season were titled after chapters from the book, The Lightning Thief.

Several chapter titles from the book The Lightning Thief weren’t included in the first season of the show. These titles are: “Three Old Ladies Knit the Socks of Death,” “Grover Unexpectedly Loses His Pants,” “My Mother Teaches Me Bullfighting,” “I Play Pinochle with a Horse,” “My Dinner Goes Up in Smoke,” “We Capture the Flag,” and “I Am Offered a Quest.”
Other chapters in The Lightning Thief include titles like “I Ruin a Perfectly Good Bus,” “We Get Advice from a Poodle,” “I Become a Known Fugitive,” “We Shop for Water Beds,” “Annabeth Does Obedience School,” “I Battle My Jerk Relative,” and “I Settle My Tab.”
The series Percy Jackson follows the adventures of Percy, a teenager who discovers he’s a demigod – the son of Poseidon. Starring Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Dior Goodjohn, and Charlie Bushnell, Percy Jackson will return in December with a new season based on The Sea of Monsters.
While two Percy Jackson movies came out in 2010 and 2013, many fans felt they didn’t accurately reflect the books. Author Rick Riordan wasn’t involved in those films and has publicly separated himself from them. Now, the new Disney+ TV show offers a fresh start – a chance to finally create an adaptation that truly honors the beloved series.
The TV show is off to a good start, currently boasting a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This is a significant improvement over the two movies, which received much lower scores of 48% and 42%.
If Disney continues to make more seasons of Percy Jackson, viewers can look forward to many more funny episode titles and thrilling stories.
