A new trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 has been released.

The Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians launched in December 2023. Created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, the show is based on Riordan’s bestselling Percy Jackson books. Walker Scobell stars as Percy Jackson, with Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, among others.

What happens in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 trailer?

The first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians followed the story of ‘The Lightning Thief’ from 2005. The upcoming second season will be based on the second book in the series, ‘The Sea of Monsters’.

In Season 2, the protective borders of Camp Half-Blood are broken, sending Percy Jackson on a dangerous quest into the Sea of Monsters. He’s searching for his friend Grover and the Golden Fleece, which is the camp’s only hope. Along the way, Percy teams up with Annabeth, Clarisse, and his new half-brother, a cyclops named Tyson. They must work together to stop Luke and the powerful Titan Kronos from destroying Camp Half-Blood and, eventually, Olympus.

Season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will feature returning cast members alongside some exciting new faces. Charlie Bushnell will play Luke Castellan, Dior Goodjohn will be Clarisse La Rue, and Daniel Diemer joins as Tyson. Guest stars include Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus, Timothy Simons as Tantalus, Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, and Sandra Bernhard, Kirsten Schaal, and Margaret Cho as The Gray Sisters. Sadly, Lance Reddick, who portrayed Zeus in season one, passed away in 2023, and Courtney B. Vance will now take on the role.

Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will arrive on Disney+ on December 10, 2025. Disney+ has also ordered a third season, which will cover the events of ‘The Titan’s Curse’.
