In just under two days, my new sibling song titled “Evie!” has racked up an impressive 161,833 views on YouTube, while also becoming available for streaming on Spotify!

Spotify has actively shared the track on their various social media platforms, offering a sneak peek into the recording process of Peppa at their London headquarters through an Instagram video that gives fans a behind-the-scenes look.

Enthusiastic supporters are expressing their desires and predictions about the post, with some exclaiming, “I can hardly wait for a Peppa Pig Era Tour!” while others are confidently stating, “There’s no doubt in my mind that this will feature on our annual wrap-up this year.

Any child enthusiast of Peppa Pig would be quick to share that she boasts an impressive musical portfolio, having released four studio albums and the popular single “Let’s Jump In!” in 2024.

The tune is simply the newest promotional strategy for the animated series, which has recently executed an impressive public relations effort.

In February, it was first revealed that Mummy Pig was pregnant through an exclusive on Good Morning Britain. The show’s Showbiz Correspondent, Richard Arnold, conducted a live interview with the family’s main caregiver, who joined the conversation via video call from Peppatown.

After an article in Grazia Magazine, Mummy Pig proudly showcased her growing belly in a series of photos, thrilling fans with her candid account of pregnancy. Key points from the feature included her unusual craving for peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.

In a playful nod to contemporary trends in influence, the animated series staged a gender reveal party spectacle at Battersea Power Station. The London icon, recognized by its distinctive silhouette of towering structures, illuminated pink to unveil the exciting announcement.

Additionally, they announced the debut of the globe’s first continuous Peppa Pig retail store. Here, enthusiasts can purchase an array of approximately 12,000 unique branded goods that Peppa Pig has marketed throughout its 20-year span.

Starting next week, fans will be able to watch the beloved pig family on the big screen, as the team calls it a “new epoch.” This special event coincides with many schools’ breaks during half term, and is titled ‘Peppa Meets the Baby.’ This unique cinematic experience is being introduced in more than 2,600 theaters across 19 different countries.

This week, the much-anticipated arrival of a new member took place, echoing a popular trend, as Mummy and Daddy Pig (a metaphorical reference) welcomed their baby girl, Evie, at Kate Middleton’s preferred maternity facility, the Lindo Wing in London.

The unique birth announcement took on a regal flair, mimicking the style of a royal decree, featuring a town crier, a parchment-like declaration, and the presentation of an authentic Peppa Pig birth certificate.

The pair created Peppa and her family working in each other’s houses or at the local pub.

They shared with Radio Times that their inspiration came from timeless ‘toon’ treasures of the 1970s like Roobarb and Pingu. Upon discovering that kids enjoy tales featuring animals, they found this to be a key influence.

We’d made this little trailer for Peppa but hadn’t got anywhere,’ recalled Baker.

After moving to Canada, the position was given to Cecily Bloom, who is now succeeded by Harley Bird.

As a devoted fan, I’ve come to understand that the enduring charm of Peppa lies in the straightforwardness and sincerity of its presentation. The creators have ensured that our beloved piglet, Peppa, is always treated with respect, never becoming the target for humor.

‘We put a lot of work into making everything look as effortless as possible, said Baker.

‘We can laugh at the adults, but children don’t like it if we laugh at the children in the show.’

All new episodes of Peppa Pig will be launching on Milkshake from September.
