Penny Lancaster Slams ‘Bully’ Gregg Wallace After Celebrity MasterChef Controversy

In response to ongoing investigations regarding allegations of sexual misconduct, Penny Lancaster has once more spoken critically about Gregg Wallace in the context of Celebrity MasterChef hosting.

Back in November, I, a devoted follower, found myself expressing strong disapproval towards Wallace, as Sir Rod Stewart, my spouse Penny’s husband, lashed out in a passionate outburst. He labeled him as a rather portly, bald-headed, rude, and overbearing bully, due to an incident where he supposedly embarrassed Penny during her stint on Celebrity MasterChef in 2021 by publicly criticizing her culinary skills.

Later on, Lancaster acknowledged that she hadn’t realized her husband was going to address the argument, and this revelation provided her with the confidence to share her thoughts openly.

In her words at the moment, she conveyed: ‘Feeling alone, questioning if others might not listen or take me seriously, then unexpectedly, I find myself with the encouragement and backing of others, making me believe that my voice will indeed be heard.’

Currently, Lancaster is growing more assertive with her statements, once more critiquing Wallace. She refers to him as a ‘spoiled fruit’ at the heart, implying that he possesses questionable character traits.

Personally, being asked if my reality TV adventure has left me cold to future endeavors, I’d say absolutely not! Mostly, there are numerous precautions and protection measures set up, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

As a devoted connoisseur, I recall vividly my emotional departure from Celebrity MasterChef last year (2021), when, due to an unfortunate delay in presenting my dish, I received a stern reprimand from Wallace. To add insult to injury, he declined to partake in my culinary creation afterwards, leaving me with a tear-stained apron and a lesson learned about the importance of timing in the kitchen.

At one point, she posted on Instagram: ‘Once you understand that someone’s actions are often a reflection of their personal struggles rather than about you, you discover the virtue of compassion.’

After Greg Wallace left the program, Stewart delivered an angry statement expressing his feelings as: ‘Greg Wallace was let go from MasterChef.’

It’s a relief you’re gone, Wallace. I believe you embarrassed my wife during the program, but it seems they edited out that part, didn’t they?

‘You’re a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya. Sir Rod Stewart.’

Lancaster made his remarks following the unveiling of Wallace’s latest endeavor: introducing a line of nutritious, ready-to-microwave meals, marking a change in direction for him, as he persists in his professional journey post his departure from MasterChef, with Grace Dent taking over.

Wallance unveiled the latest development through his health and wellness company, promoting their £8 per dish items, mentioning that he had found a way to utilize his ‘extra time at home.’

He mentioned about the project, stating: “I’ve been developing dishes for some time now from the Gregg Wallace-inspired healthy meal line that offers frozen options.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been fortunate enough to spend more time at home and rediscover my passion for cooking. It’s an activity that brings me immense joy, and I’m eager to make it a regular part of our family routine – aiming to prepare a delicious meal together once a week.

He mentioned: “Our meals are all frozen and delivered by DPD AM Delivery Service. They’ll either arrive already frozen or at appropriate temperatures for you to put directly into your freezer, except as noted in the product descriptions.

Single meals are £8 or buyers can purchase eight for £60.

Currently, Wallace is being scrutinized by the BBC due to numerous accusations concerning his unacceptable behavior.

At first, he appeared optimistic when confronted with accusations. He responded by posting on Instagram, stating that most of them originated from middle-aged women from a particular social class.

He further inquired: ‘Could you guess the number of contestants on MasterChef who’ve made suggestive comments or subtle references?’

After that incident, various notable figures such as TV host Ulrika Jonsson and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, among others, have publicly criticized his comments through official statements.

The former greengrocer later apologised for the controversial comments which caused a PR storm.

The presenter, facing criticism, explained about his comment on middle-class women: “At the time I made that post, I was not mentally well. I’ve been dealing with an immense amount of stress and strong emotions.

In the group of individuals accusing Wallace, there’s a woman – let’s call her Lisa – who was an associate from the BBC program Eat Well for Less back in 2015. Her real name isn’t mentioned here.

She told the BBC Wallace ‘touched her inappropriately’ when they were filming in a supermarket.

She asserted that he hastily bumped into her at the cashier, and inappropriately pressed against her bottom with both his waist and genitals, followed by a laugh and a comment, “Oh, you enjoyed that, didn’t you.

He responded in a unique manner; typically, others might have apologized and asked if they could slip through, which would have been acceptable.

Apart from asserting she had no choice but to carry on working, Lisa expresses her unease using the phrase ‘wasn’t comfortable with it’. Furthermore, she finds the situation distasteful and unpleasant, referring to it as ‘icky and distasteful’. However, when she voiced her concerns to a superior colleague, no action was taken.

As a devoted admirer, I find myself compelled to share that, according to Banijay, there seems to be no trace in their records of the matter being brought up during the production process at RDF Television, the team behind Eat Well for Less. It’s intriguing, isn’t it?

A second woman claims that she came across Wallace while working at an event in 2022.

Sarah, who is simply referred to as such, maintains that Wallace requested her to escort him to the parking lot following the conclusion of the gathering.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but share some intriguing rumors that have been circulating. It’s said he would casually discuss his romantic encounters on set, even request phone numbers from female colleagues, and persistently inquire about the practicalities of dating other women from a gay woman. Quite fascinating, isn’t it?

Wallance’s legal team stated clearly that there is no truth whatsoever to the allegations suggesting he behaves inappropriately or harasses people in a sexual manner.

It’s me, Grace Dent, stepping up to the plate temporarily, replacing the legendary Wallace on MasterChef during the ongoing investigation of his actions. This is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to dive into the culinary world with an open heart and palate!

In the forthcoming 20th season of Celebrity MasterChef, Dent will serve as the judge, having made frequent appearances as a guest and ultimately participating himself in MasterChef: Battle Of The Critics during 2022.
