On Tuesday, Penny Lancaster was a sight to behold as she graced the first day of Royal Ascot 2025 held in Berkshire.

Rod Stewart’s wife, who is 54 years old, turned the event into a family gathering. She brought along her 19-year-old son, named Alastair.

She presented a stylish silhouette, wearing a deep-neckline, vintage gown by Dolce & Gabbana paired with an elegant percher hat by Annabeth Fenley.

She accessorized with a pair of golden sandals and carried her items in a fashionable Lowen bee-patterned bag that retails for an impressive £1,100.

Meanwhile son Alastair looked ever the gentleman in a morning suit with a grey top hat.   

Alongside book editor Rosie Nixon, Penny gracefully displayed her stylish flair in a well-tailored floral gown during the inaugural day at Royal Ascot.

The highly esteemed event known as Royal Ascot, often referred to as the British racing calendar’s finest gem, commenced on Tuesday with the Queen Anne Stakes, and it will continue until Saturday.

It’s expected that King Charles and Camilla will travel in a well-known horse-drawn carriage parade, passing through the route and bystanders who are estimated to number in the hundreds of thousands, during the five-day event.

This tradition, which dates back to 1825 when it was initiated during the rule of King George IV, celebrates its 200-year milestone this year. Or, This year marks the 200th anniversary of a tradition that originated in 1825 under King George IV’s reign.

The festival, established in 1711 by Queen Anne, was born out of her belief that Ascot was the perfect venue for horses worthy of royalty. Today, it stands as a significant social gathering and a popular sports spectacle.

Following Sir Rod Stewart, aged 80, who delivered an energetic performance during photo ops alongside his stylish spouse Penny at the London premiere of Mission: Impossible 8 last month.

The couple was among many well-known individuals gracing the red carpet at Leicester Square, all gathering to honor Tom Cruise’s eighth and concluding film titled “The Final Reckoning” with their presence.

The film, which has faced multiple delays, finally hit cinemas on May 23 2025.

Penny exuded an effortless elegance in her bright yellow silk gown, whereas Rod showcased his masculinity with a white ruffled top and a stylish coat that was very on-trend.

At the premiere, the happily married couple, together since 2007, were accompanied by two young men.

In March, it was announced by Kimberly that she is expecting her second child, making her father (who is well-known) a grandfather for the fifth time.

Kimberly, who resides in Los Angeles, is currently a mother to her 13-year-old daughter, Delilah Genoveva Stewart, whom she co-parents with her former partner, Benicio del Toro.

In an Instagram post, she appeared luminous while donning a form-fitting black gown at the high-profile gathering held at BleauLive Theater in Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Monday, accompanied by her family among the celebrities.

Kimberly did not reveal who the father of the baby was, only that she was expecting a son.

At the Monday ceremony, singing legend Rod was taken aback to the point of uttering a profanity (often referred to as the “F-word), which was later removed from the televised version due to its inappropriate nature.

He expressed how incredibly swamped he felt, but in a tender way, to have his children with him,” reported DailyMail.com at the ceremony.

Instead, the CBS broadcast abruptly switched from Stewart as he swore, showing an odd angle of spectators instead, many of whom were capturing his speech on their mobile devices.

Instead of letting a curse word slip through, it seemed like CBS edited out the offensive part abruptly, causing a sudden resumption in his speech right in the middle of a word.

Rod was completely astonished since he hadn’t expected his children to be part of the event, let alone introducing him with such warmth.

‘I thought you had recorded it earlier!’ he said of their introduction.

This year, Kimberly, his daughter, announced on Instagram that she’s pregnant and expecting a baby boy. She made this joyful news public to her followers.
