Pedro Pascal’s new movie debuts with 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating

As a longtime animation enthusiast who has witnessed the evolution of computer-generated imagery (CGI) and storytelling in this genre, I must say that Pedro Pascal’s latest movie, The Wild Robot, has left me utterly captivated. With its perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score based on 21 reviews, it stands as one of the best animated films of our time.

Pedro Pascal’s latest movie The Wild Robot has debuted with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.

In the movie, both Lupita Nyong’o, famously known from The Mandalorian and A Quiet Place: Day One, and a character named Roz are key voices. Roz is actually a robot in this story, specifically a ROZZUM unit 7134, but for convenience, we can just call her Roz.

On a deserted island, Roz (spoken by Nyong’o), finds herself stranded after a shipwreck. To survive, she learns to cope with the harsh environment and forms bonds with the local wildlife.

Its rustic charm and beauty make it captivating, a cozy treasure of a movie that feels like a nostalgic nod to the past yet offers something fresh. Can’t help but wonder if there are plans for a sequel?
