Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling’s ‘Loser Behavior’ Over Trans Rights Controversy!

Following a recent UK Supreme Court judgment declaring that transgender women are not biologically women, the repercussions persist. Notably, Pedro Pascal, renowned actor from “The Mandalorian,” has stepped into the conversation.

After a UK Supreme Court verdict labelling transgender women as not female, the aftermath lingers. Of note, Pedro Pascal, star of “The Mandalorian,” has entered the discussion.

It’s been reported that part of the funding for the campaign against transgender women came from J.K. Rowling, renowned author of the globally adored Harry Potter series. Following the verdict, she shared a photo of herself puffing on a cigar and captioned it “I love it when a plan comes together.” Now, demonstrations in favor of transgender women are being held all over the United Kingdom.

In a post, activist Tariq Ra’ouf called for people to refrain from supporting the Harry Potter franchise due to J.K. Rowling’s controversial views on transgender issues. With HBO set to release a new adaptation of the series, which is expected to generate substantial revenue, Ra’ouf urged fans not to watch the show, avoid Universal Studios, and stop buying any Harry Potter merchandise. He argued that by withholding financial support, they could send a message to corporations that transphobia is financially unprofitable. The concern is that any profits from the franchise might be used by Rowling for activities that are harmful to the transgender community.

Pascal directly criticized Rowling in his post, using strong language: “Her actions are abhorrent and shameful. Her conduct is appalling.” This marks the first instance where he has addressed J.K. Rowling, who has been viewed as a controversial figure by the LGBTQ+ community.

Pascal often expresses strong support for trans rights due to his close relationship with his sister Lux. Back in 2023, he openly praised Lux as one of the most influential individuals he’s ever encountered. He stated, “Lux is a force to be reckoned with and has always been someone I deeply admire.” Furthermore, he mentioned that his affection for her exceeds what she might need from him.

Pascal Has Stood Up For Trans Rights Frequently

It could be argued that Pascal’s nurturing nature is what has endeared him to many viewers. Witnessing him shield Grogu (also known as Baby Yoda) in The Mandalorian brought audiences great joy, and they were equally captivated when he portrayed the protective father figure Joel Miller in The Last of Us. Interestingly, his co-star in that series, Bella Ramsey, identifies as non-binary.

In a post on Instagram last February, Pascal openly expressed his views on trans rights by saying, “There’s nothing more contemptible or petty than harassing the tiniest, most defenseless group of individuals who merely seek to coexist peacefully and ask for the right to live authentically.

Additionally, Pascal has been sporting a “Protect the Trans Women” t-shirt, both on social media and in real life. The phrase “doll” is a colloquial term for transgender women, and the profits from the shirt’s sales are donated to the Trans Lifeline charity. At the event he attended, Pascal wore the shirt, which brought a significant amount of media attention not only to him but also to his cause.

A significant number of notable figures in the United Kingdom advocate for transgender rights, even as efforts have been made to weaken them in more recent times. To illustrate, actors like Daniel Radcliffe from “Harry Potter” and J.K. Rowling are among these supporters.
