Peaky Blinders star Annabelle Wallis lands next lead movie role
As a die-hard fan of Annabelle Wallis and her captivating performances, I am absolutely thrilled to see her taking on yet another lead role! It seems like she has a knack for playing characters who are wrongly accused and must prove their innocence – quite the intriguing pattern! With two movies in the pipeline where she’ll be running from trouble while uncovering conspiracies, it feels like Annabelle is living her own real-life spy thriller!
Actress Annabelle Wallis, known for her role in “Peaky Blinders,” has secured the main part in an upcoming film that features Jason Statham.
According to Deadline, Wallis, known for her roles in Annabelle, Malignant, The Mummy reboot, is set to share leading roles with another actor in the upcoming action-thriller titled Mutiny.
The movie chronicles the story of Cole Reed, a man who witnesses his wealthy business tycoon superior being murdered. Accused of the crime, he must flee and clear his name by revealing a grand global conspiracy along the way.
Filming will take place later this year in the UK.
It’s intriguing to note that Wallis was revealed in July to be part of a suspenseful production titled “Mercy“. The story revolves around a character portrayed by Chris Pratt, who is falsely accused of a crime and must flee to clear his name.
Last July, I got hooked on Netflix’s newest release, “Vanished into the Night,” an edge-of-your-seat Italian thriller. This gripping story follows an estranged couple who find their kids abducted for a hefty ransom. As the protagonist, I suspect the kidnapping is linked to my ex’s shady past, while he resorts to some unsavory associates to scrape together the demanded money.
It wasn’t until June 2024 that the long-awaited Peaky Blinders film was finally confirmed following much anticipation and discussion.
“It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me,” star Cillian Murphy said.
I’m extremely delighted to once again work alongside Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the movie adaptation of ‘Peaky Blinders’. It’s a project tailored especially for the fans.
In addition to the original cast members, Barry Keoghan, known for his roles in Saltburn and The Batman, is also set to appear in the upcoming movie.
Mutiny does not currently have a release window.
