The couple, who met while filming Emma, have clearly taken their on-screen romance to the next level, and it’s a delight to see them embark on this new chapter of their lives together.

The couple tied the knot in a luxurious Scottish wedding with Connor’s Sex Education co-star Alistair Petrie, who plays his dad in the series, officiating the ceremony.
Thirty-two-year-old Amber dazzled in a white off-the-shoulder gown by Vivienne Westwood while strolling arm-in-arm with her freshly-wedded spouse, who’s only 28 years old.
Upon discovering her ideal gown, the actress shared with Vogue: “It may sound cliché, but I instantly recognized it when I put it on.
The star added elbow-length tulle gloves by the designer and accessorised the look with jewellery from Chanel and silver shoes from Roger Vivier.
The Paris-based fashion label Patou additionally provided her an embellished blue silk sack, bearing the names ‘Amber and Connor’ along with a heart design, within it.
Accompanied by her styling team from London, Amber wanted to incorporate numerous sentimental elements, as her veil by Clio Peppiatt showcased the astrological signs of both Amber and Connor in sparkling sequins.
Meanwhile Connor cut a dapper appearance in a navy suit with tartan tie from Atelier Arena.
Amber was handed over by her godmother because she mentioned that her father is unfortunately unwell, making it impossible for him to take care of it.
‘She is the godparent that he chose for me, so it felt like a nice way of having him there.’

Instead, their dinner guests indulged in haggis, turnips, and potatoes, and in lieu of a traditional wedding cake, they chose individual chocolate Nemesis desserts as a tribute to one of their beloved eateries – The River Cafe.
On her special day, Amber was accompanied by seven bridesmaids who each picked a dress from the spectrum of cobalt to navy blue shades to wear.
At the gathering following their collaboration on Emma, director Autumn de Wilde delivered a speech, as they had grown close friends since then.
The night ended with a ceilidh hosted by Amber’s music school friends, the Haggis Chasers.
The couple had their first dance to The Orcadian Strip The Willow as Amber changed into a tartan corset and skirt also from Vivienne Westwood.
On the day following their wedding, the newlyweds extended invitations to their guests for a meal at a seaside pub, where they would enjoy fish and chips. Amber, in particular, found this moment to be her most cherished memory of the entire weekend.
