What to expect in Based on a True Story Season 2?
The second series unfolds three months following the first season’s events. Ava and Nathan have become parents, and they are committed to nurturing their newborn. Ava is making every effort to suppress her fixation with true crimes, as she aims to distance herself from a realm that came perilously close to claiming her life and liberty. However, this proves more challenging than anticipated. Despite her intentions, Ava re-enters the real estate market (and TikTok), while Nathan concentrates on honing his tennis coaching skills.
This situation continues until there are fresh murders, and Ava is curious about whether Matt might be involved. Unfortunately, things get even more complicated because Tory has gotten involved with Matt, which suggests she might be in peril. It’s also possible that Ava and Nathan could find themselves in danger too, as the threat seems to be right at their doorstep.
