How is Peacemaker’s Earth X different from Superman’s DCU Earth?
Earth X is a recurring alternate reality in DC comics where the Nazis won World War II, drastically altering history. While many characters, like White Dragon, share similarities with their counterparts on the main DC Earth, the key difference is the world’s acceptance of White Supremacy. Interestingly, on Earth X, White Dragon (Auggie Smith) shows more kindness and understanding towards his sons than his counterpart does.
Ever since Peacemaker visited the alternate universe in the show, viewers have pointed out how little diversity there was in that world. Many fans guessed it might be based on Earth X from the comics, and it now appears they were right.
This version of reality is drastically different from the DC Universe we know, even extending to organizations like ARGUS being controlled by Nazis. Here, the White Dragon and his sons are celebrated heroes – their prejudiced views are actually accepted and even admired by the population. Interestingly, in this world, Vigilante and Peacemaker are enemies rather than allies.
I’ve always been captivated by the idea of Earth X within the DC universe – it’s just such a compelling ‘what if?’ scenario. The thought of a world where the Nazis won World War II is incredibly thought-provoking, and it’s been explored in comics and other stories for years. I’m really excited to hear that Peacemaker season 2 is going to delve into that universe too; it sounds like they have something big planned!
As a movie fan, I’m really fascinated by this alternate universe the filmmakers have created. It constantly makes you think: in what kind of world would *Chris* be the one saving the day? It’s a compelling question that adds a lot of depth to the story.
