Pauline Hanson was certainly full of the Yuletide spirit this year.

As a lifestyle observer, I have to say, I was a little surprised to see what One Nation’s leader shared on Instagram this Christmas Eve! He posted a video with a truly unexpected guest star – definitely a bit of a holiday shocker!

The video featured Pauline sitting on the floor in her living room with her daughter, Lee, who had unexpectedly traveled from Tasmania to visit.

The highlight of the video was a fully grown reindeer calmly sitting while Pauline and Lee casually leaned back on its back.

‘Well, it’s Christmas. How lucky are we?’ Pauline began the clip.

I have a real reindeer visiting me in my living room, and I’m enjoying a lovely time with my daughter and grandkids. It’s been a truly special experience!

Continuing, Pauline offered a heartfelt festive sentiment.  

‘I just want to send this message to all Australians,’ she said.

Make the most of this time by connecting with the people you care about – your family, friends, and neighbors. Spend it with those you enjoy being around.

She continued, saying, “This is a wonderful time of year, and my daughter and I want to thank you for all your support. We appreciate everything you’ve done for us, and we’re sending you our Christmas wishes.” Her daughter enthusiastically agreed.

Captioning the festive post, Pauline also gave an insight into how she will be spending her break.

She plans to take a few days off work to relax with her family and enjoy swimming during the warm summer weather. She’ll be back on the road, traveling across Tasmania, starting January 2nd.

Have a safe holiday season while traveling, and I look forward to seeing many of you at our planned stops nationwide in the New Year.

Oh my gosh, when she posted, the comments just exploded! And get this – even Dean Wells from Married At First Sight commented! I nearly died, seriously. I was refreshing the page every five seconds to see what everyone was saying, and there he was! It was amazing.

‘WTF?? Is that real?? Love you Pauline! You are the GOAT,’ Dean wrote.

Okay, seriously, when Dave from Married at First Sight season 2025 commented, I lost it! He called Granny P the GOAT – or a reindeer, which, honestly, is equally amazing – and wished her a merry Christmas. It was just… perfect. I’m obsessed with Granny P and seeing everyone acknowledge her legendary status is everything!

Another follower offered: ‘Merry Christmas to you both. That’s an impressive reindeer BTW.’

One person captured what many were thinking: Pauline really impressed everyone by posing with a reindeer.

They were incredibly excited, exclaiming she was the coolest person ever – like having a reindeer right in your living room! They couldn’t believe it.

Pauline also got a very positive response last month when Pete Deppeler, a producer for the Kyle & Jackie O show, spent a day working as her intern in Parliament House.

A video showing a day in the life of Pete at work was posted on the Kyle & Jackie O Instagram page, and viewers strongly agreed with how Pauline manages things.

In fact, many suggested the controversial senator should take on the country’s top job.

One enthusiastic fan expressed their affection for intern Pete, saying the show wouldn’t be the same without him. They jokingly added that they’d like to see Pauline Hanson become Prime Minister to help the country make progress.

Another chimed in with a similar: ‘Pauline PM please!!!’ echoing the sentiment of many.

Others were quick to praise Pauline for her self-effacing presentation in the clip.

Listeners praised Pauline as being truly authentic, with one saying she seemed like a lot of fun to spend time with.
