Paul Smith and Lee Team Up for An Exclusive New Capsule Collection
Paul Smith and Lee have built a strong partnership, stemming from Paul Smith’s initial fascination with a pair of painter’s pants more than five decades ago. This collaboration showcases the harmony between their distinctive styles, blending Lee’s classic Americana vibe with Paul Smith’s traditional British flair. The collection, first hinted at Pitti Uomo, is now ready for purchase.
In the 1970s, I sold Lee brand clothing in my Nottingham shop, and they were crucial to me during the early stages of my career. Importing clothes from the USA was much more challenging back then, and it was always thrilling to have them available in the store. They have a rich history, and collaborating on this collection has been fantastic. The synergy between their denim expertise and our print and design knowledge is an exceptional match. – Sir Paul Smith, statement.
The assortment is brimming with essential pieces from the new-wave movement. For instance, the Lee 101 jean, Stormrider Jacket, Chore Coat, and Carpenter Pants have been revamped using fresh patterns, including the distinctive Paul Smith stripe. Furthermore, a coordinated tapered pants set receives an upgrade with a unique jacquard design, while hoodies and t-shirts showcase vibrant splashes of color, making them ideal for a lively spring season.
Prices vary between $90 and $450 USD for these items. The Paul Smith and Lee Collaboration is now accessible online at Paulsmith.com and in certain Paul Smith and Nordstrom stores. For now, take a look at the collection displayed in the gallery above.
