Paul Hogan’s troubled son Chance sparks major concern as he posts video of himself drinking wine and slurring his words while pleading for someone to ‘please kill me’

In a concerning turn of events, the son of Paul Hogan, the renowned actor known for his role in Crocodile Dundee, named Chance, has stirred up alarm on social media by making a plea for help that appears to be under the influence, asking someone to grant him the mercy of ending his life.

On Monday, the 27-year-old posted some worrying videos on his Instagram Stories. In these clips, he was seen sipping wine and speaking unclear words while seated at a table in a public setting.

He was seated with a laptop displaying Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, an American animated TV series, as he expressed his regrets about his life.

In a slurred voice, Chance sighed, “This…this is all there is to me now.” He took another sip from his wine glass.

He adjusted the camera to point at his face and the laptop began to sway, as he found it challenging to keep it stable during his speech.

He then leaned in close and said: ‘Please. Please kill me. I’m begging you.’

Immediately after, Chance posted another video, holding his beverage while exclaiming: “I retract everything I’ve ever said. This is the life I’ve always wanted… I have no desire to ever move from this spot.

He swallowed another sip of wine, then shared some slightly out-of-focus photos of him pretending to be sad while standing beside his computer, which continued to stream Fat Albert.

Later on, it appeared that Chance had perked up, for he posted another bright, distinct image showing him grinning while standing before a picturesque harbor.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Chance and his father Paul’s representatives for comment.

After Paul, aged 85, decided to speak up, a series of worrying posts followed, as there had been increasing apprehension about his troubled son.

In December, the retired actor from Australia, who is also a father to his only child Chance (with ex-wife and former co-star Linda Kozlowski), dismissed widespread concerns that had been raised about Chance’s wellbeing.

A promising musician named Chance, residing in Venice Beach alongside his well-known dad, has often found himself the subject of news articles due to his unpredictable actions.

However, when DailyMail.com recently encountered Paul during his shopping trips in Los Angeles last month, he expressed that there was no cause for concern.

In a relaxed manner, Paul smiled and shook his head, indicating that he wasn’t concerned about Chance when asked. He simply said, “No.

He continued: ‘No. It’s a lot of made up stuff and a lot of it he [Chance] does on purpose.’

Paul dismissed worries during a brief excursion to a nearby shop and the ATM, marking his initial public appearance in nearly nine months.

Despite the whispers and worries surrounding his son, the secluded celebrity came across as amiable and open to conversation, revealing a cheerful demeanor.

The iconic movie star, hailing from Sydney, departed his native land after the worldwide success of the 1986 action-comedy film “Crocodile Dundee,” propelled him to global fame.

He made the move to settle with his second wife, Linda, in Los Angeles in the ’90s.

When inquired about going back to his Australian homeland, he replied with a casual agreement: “Absolutely, sometime in the future.

He then added, referring to his son: ‘If he’ll come.’

Since their divorce in 2014, following 24 years of marriage, Chance has resided with his dad in Los Angeles.

Last November, some concerning images surfaced showing Chance purchasing beer and wandering around the backstreets of Venice Beach, which is close to the house he resides in with his father.

Paul’s latest remarks contradict recent reports that he had been ‘worried sick’ about his son.

Reports surfaced following the dissemination by Daily Mail Australia of startling photographs showing Chance appearing unkempt in a narrow alleyway, captured on November 14.

He seemed to wander aimlessly along the street, occasionally stopping, until he reached a car that was darkened near his residence.

Chance’s online behaviour has also become more erratic, sparking further concerns.

More casually, he recently posted a peculiar video where he ominously hinted that something was about to start, all while showing off his irritated gums on camera.

Scandal isn’t unfamiliar to him; indeed, his parents’ relationship was a major gossip headline in the late 1980s tabloids.

On the set in the Australian Outback, there was a well-known tension between Paul and Linda. This situation was complicated by the fact that the older man, who was 19 years Linda’s senior, was still legally wedded to Noelene Edwards at the time.

The couple wed in 1990, welcomed Chance eight years later, and divorced in 2014.

Paul got married to his initial spouse, Noelene Edwards, back in 1958. After some time, they went their separate ways and officially ended their marriage in 1981. Together, they have five kids: Brett, Clay, Scott, Todd, and Lauren.
