Patsy Kensit shared that she’s been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), opening up about a challenging day she experienced, expressing feelings of deception and pain.

On Thursday, the 56-year-old actress and vocalist posted a picture of a melancholic emoji on her Instagram, indicating she’d experienced a challenging day. In her caption, she mentioned she was grappling with difficulties following a tough day.

Today has been a challenging day. Today, I find myself feeling deceived and pained. Towards the end of last year, I was diagnosed with PTSD and had made significant progress, feeling fantastic. However, today, I’m not at that high point anymore.

Today, I’m finding it tough to express my usual exuberance. Yet, amidst the heavy feelings, I find myself overwhelmed by a sense of gratitude and melancholy, a peculiar blend only those grappling with mental health struggles can comprehend. In times like these, I’m reminded that we are not isolated in our battles; we share this journey with countless others who understand our silent strife, offering us comfort in our shared solitude.

While I’m engrossed in work, I don’t experience any of those feelings; I’ve recently completed filming. Now, I plan to meditate and strive to elevate my energy to infuse positivity back into my existence. Unfortunately, today seems particularly challenging.

PTSD, or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, refers to a psychological condition that develops following a deeply distressing or horrifying experience, whether you personally experienced it or simply watched it happen.

After Patsy expressed that she has abandoned any dreams of meeting a partner following her fourth marriage, she’s found peace with being single, aiming instead to fulfill the emptiness within herself on her own.

Last year, the actress ended her engagement with real estate mogul fiance, Patric Cassidy, and announced in November that she is no longer keen on pursuing any romantic relationships.

She said, “Hi!: ‘I don’t want a romantic relationship right now, I’m not interested. I do believe in love, but for me, it’s not something I need or crave. I’ve been on my own for a while and I enjoy my solitude. Now, I’m just working on adjusting my life to fill the void in my soul.’

In 2023, she made public her surprise engagement to Patrick, who is reported to have proposed only a few weeks following their initial date together.

In Mayfair’s seafood restaurant Scott’s, it’s said that he made a marriage proposal to the previous Holby City star. To toast the occasion, he also bought champagne for other patrons.

In February, the couple made their relationship official during a romantic beach proposal, as Patric knelt on one knee amidst a floral arrangement shaped like a heart.

At a charity event in June, it appears that Patsy became noticeably upset after Patric grabbed her diamond engagement ring from her during an argument.

Only a few short weeks ago, I was bursting with excitement as I eagerly awaited updates about my beloved idol, Patsy. Yet, when news broke, it left me shaken to the core. A source revealed that the rapid courtship has ended, and the pair have chosen to part ways independently.

She deeply loved him, yet she realized their connection might not last permanently. Consequently, she decided it was wiser to not progress further in their relationship.

At present, Patsy finds herself with numerous intriguing job prospects, and she’s fully immersed in her professional journey.

In the year 1988, Patsy tied the knot with Dan Donovan, who was a member of the popular ’80s band Big Audio Dynamite. However, their marriage didn’t last long and they parted ways in 1991 through a divorce.

In 1992, she got married to Jim Kerr, the lead vocalist of Simple Minds. They had a son named James in 1993, but unfortunately, they parted ways three years after that.

Reflecting on my life’s events, one of the relationships that garnered significant attention was my union with Liam Gallagher, the lead singer of Oasis, which unfolded the subsequent year and persisted until 2000. Our shared bond produced a wonderful child named Lennon.

She then married Nineties DJ Jeremy Healy in 2009, but the pair split 10 months after the wedding.

Previously, Patsy openly discussed her unsuccessful marriages. More recently, she shared with The Mirror her perspective: “It’s not necessary to wed every boyfriend you have.

‘My goals always been that my sons had a really good relationship with their fathers.
