Patsy Kensit recently posted an adorable old photo of her son, Lennon, along with a loving message about him.

Actress Patsy Kensit, age 57, recently shared a childhood photo of her 26-year-old son, whose father is singer Liam Gallagher, on Instagram.

The photo appeared to be taken on Lennon’s birthday as it showed Patsy presenting him with a cake.

Patsy shared a heartfelt message about her son, expressing her immense love and pride for him and his brother, James.

I feel so lucky to have you in my life and to share time with you. I especially love watching ‘The Chase’ with you, Lennon – you’re really great at it!

Sending love, thankfulness, happiness, and peaceful thoughts to all. I’m so grateful! P.S. This isn’t John Lennon’s birthday – he was born in September. It’s just a picture of a cake we made together, a photo I really cherish. ❤️

Patsy is also mother to older son James, 32, from her marriage to Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr. 

This news follows the actress’s announcement that she’s selling the diamond earrings Liam gave her while they were together.

Patsy married the Oasis frontman in 1997, but they split in 2000 just months after Lennon’s birth.

I was so interested to hear Patsy explain her decision to sell the earrings. She’s set a minimum price of £10,000, but it’s not about the money for her, really. She just wants them to end up with someone who will truly appreciate them – a ‘good home,’ as she put it.

The former Emmerdale actor has entrusted antiques expert Tom Keane with several items to be auctioned off at The Swan in Tetsworth, Oxfordshire, next month.

She previously wore the earrings to an awards event in 1999.

Patsy told The Sun On Sunday that many women sell jewelry given to them by ex-partners, and she hopes the earrings find a good new owner.

The actress revealed she hasn’t had contact with her son’s father, Liam, for the past 26 years, despite being a parent together.

While on the show Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Patsy was asked whether she’d been to see Oasis when they reunited.

She explained that she saw everything happen and thought it was wonderful, recalling cherished memories. She also mentioned she hadn’t seen Liam in 26 years.

I’m really thrilled for Lennon that he gets to experience this amazing cultural moment. And I’m overjoyed for the band and everyone who’s reconnecting with their music.
