As a seasoned Snowbreak gamer, I must say that this update has left me absolutely radiant! The new swimsuits for our beloved characters are simply breathtaking and I can already picture myself lounging on the beach with Katya-Dawnwing or Marian-Riptide. The Adjutant’s new look is a cherry on top, making it even harder to leave the game!

As a gamer, I’m always eagerly anticipating updates from Azure Paradise, especially since Seasun seems to have a knack for releasing their summer events fashionably late. This year, however, Azure Paradise managed to surprise us all by dropping their latest update right as the pumpkin spice season begins (a bit earlier than last year). Rumor has it that this is the first update to benefit from Seasun’s expanded development team, so I can’t wait to see what they’ve been working on! Let’s dive in and explore the exciting new features we can expect.

This format for articles appears to have performed well during its initial test, thus it has been brought back again. Be joyful. It is worth noting that I personally do not find pumpkin spice particularly appealing.

New Operatives

Katya – Dawnwing

Now dressed more suitable for the beach, Katya maintains her Frost power but swaps her crossbow with an assault rifle instead. I think she’s been seen as averse to firearms before, yet here we are. Translating her usual abilities left me with quite the migraine, but it appears easier in action than it sounds, and she should at least be entertaining to play – which is more than I could say about the last character Seasun released. And if she isn’t fun, Katya’s popularity might compel Seasun to grant emergency buffs when needed. Possibly.

Additionally, take a look at the backstories of the logistics team. I found them quite charming.

Marian – Riptide

If you’re curious about her occupation, I share your curiosity. I recommend checking back in two weeks as it seems Seasun won’t disclose any information before that time. However, since she’s complimentary, that’s a plus point!

Reruns

Fenny – Starshine

In this second part re-airing, Fenny making an appearance right now seems a bit premature if we’re talking about a re-run. On the other hand, Lyfe – Infinite Sight isn’t back yet either, leading me to speculate that perhaps they moved up her schedule to cater to new players who missed her initial release. Given that she is a top-tier support and an excellent addition for those who don’t already own her, it appears to be a strategic move beneficial for them.

Siris – Ksana

In the Snowbreak era following Cherno, Siris has demonstrated an equal level of power as the initial Orphan Crusher 9000 across virtually all game content. If you wish to render other players in your Gigalink match irrelevant, then this character is ideal for you. Personally, I failed to obtain her signature weapon, Uncrowned Flail, during my previous attempt, so I’m excited to acquire it next time.

As a fellow Siris player, I can picture our matches being reminiscent of a fast-paced game of Hungry Hungry Hippos, where we’re all eagerly grabbing at our opponents’ forces, attempting to amass the most enemies in each round!

Event Game Modes

Following a somewhat minimalist event plan during Operation Midnight, Seasun has wisely amplified the activities, ensuring there are at least two gaming modes active simultaneously throughout.

In this game, our star attractions are Let’s Go, Heimdall! – a cheerful obstacle course in a chibi style, designed to keep players relaxed throughout their gameplay, and Containment Protocol, an exciting cooperative mode where you can summon diverse types of aid, such as air strikes or turrets. It seems odd that they’ve included Endless Battle on the schedule too, but I suppose it serves to enhance the appeal of Containment Protocol even more.

In my gaming experience, I find myself puzzled by the fact that the game mode for “Brave Squad” persists in being solo-exclusive. Frankly, I’ve always found the original cooperative concept quite appealing and can’t fathom why it’s been set aside.

As a thrilled enthusiast, I can’t help but share the exciting perks that await us! Apart from the customary wave defense mode and Hero Games, there’s also the engaging Presence Patrol. Here’s the best part: With Presence Patrol activated, not one, but two 60AP refills will be delivered to your inbox every day! This accelerates your pace towards collecting all those tantalizing rewards.

The standard commissions have returned, now resetting daily to prevent the mishap that occurred during Seasun’s initial introduction. It’s all part of the learning process!

Skins

This time, we’ve got a set of four summer swimsuits: Katya – Dawnwing, Marian – Riptide, Enya – Exuvia, and Cherno – Enigma. You can purchase all of them except for Cherno’s suit in our regular shop. To obtain Cherno’s outfit, you need to reach the Ultimate tier in our battlepass.

But let’s not forget about the new look that the Adjutant gets as well. You can pick this up for free in the event shop, with it being permanently available via the Bright-Star Ticket shop once the event ends.

Quality of Life Updates & Freebies

Check out this post for details about Quality of Life (QoL) improvements, particularly the feature that allows you to manage your operatives within the base more efficiently, eliminating the need to wait for them to finish their tasks before assigning new ones such as arranging furniture.

As for free stuff, this is a dual operative release patch, which means extra goodies are in order.

Without a doubt, the main attraction when it comes to complimentary offers is the exclusive invite-only event for Marian, along with her support team, Aileron Squad. This special package can be collected from October 10th to November 7th (UTC+8).

Maintenance

The server maintenance for an update will begin earlier than normal, starting at 3:00AM UTC+8 on September 26 (which converts to your time zone here). This maintenance will last for seven hours, making it one hour before the daily reset. Therefore, it’s recommended that you complete your dailies and spend any remaining event currency if you haven’t already. In fact, do it now! The rewards for maintenance are typically 420 Digicash, 25,000 Silverbucks, and a 60AP stamina refill.

Unfortunately, there’s not much exciting information to discuss from the maintenance notes at the moment. However, I wanted to mention that the Character Names (CN) voices for Acacia, Enya, Marian, and Mauxir are being updated. This isn’t new news as it was previously announced.
