Patch 11.1, Undermine(d), for World of Warcraft: The War Within is confirmed

Following several weeks of buzz and conjecture, it’s officially confirmed that Patch 11.1 for World of Warcraft: The War Within will be rolled out on a specific date.

For quite some time now, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release date for the upcoming patch in World of Warcraft’s (WoW) retail expansion, The War Within (TWW). Rumors have been swirling, but it seems we finally have a definite answer! Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced that Patch 11.1 will drop on February 25, 2025. This exciting update promises a host of class adjustments and an abundance of new content to explore within the game as we transition into Season 2 of TWW. I simply can’t wait!

Undermine(d) – Patch 11.1 release date confirmed

Today, we got word from a recent post (originally Twitter) that Patch 11.1 for Total War: Warhammer is scheduled to release on February 25th. This date aligns with what many had anticipated. Notably, this new patch will drop the week after the Plunderstorm event concludes and also marks the end of the Turbulent Timeways event.

Despite the new update being rolled out on February 25, Season 2 won’t start until March 4, 2025. This gives players a week to complete fresh quests and catch up on anything from Season 1 before the new season commences. Update 11.1 and Season 2 are packed with numerous changes and exciting new features for the game.

The release of the latest update extends the deadline for finishing all tasks related to Season 1 by two weeks, after which they’ll vanish. This includes dungeon entrances and the prestigious “Cutting Edge” raid titles from the initial season. However, there’s plenty more that comes with it as well!

With a firm date set for Patch 11.1 in Total War: Warhammer and the start of Season 2, our anticipation is growing! We can’t wait to discover what the Undermine has in store for World of Warcraft.
