As a die-hard cricket fan, I must say that it’s truly captivating to witness the personal and professional lives of our beloved sports stars intertwining so beautifully. Pat Cummins, Australia’s ace fast bowler, is taking a well-deserved break from sport, marking his first significant rest in almost two years. It’s heartening to see him prioritizing his health and ensuring he’s at the top of his game for the upcoming Test series against India.

Becky, the expectant wife of Pat Cummins, showcased her expanding belly while basking in the sunny weather at Bronte Beach in Sydney.

In a delightful Instagram post last month, the female partner of the 33-year-old cricket player (WAG) and the 31-year-old Australian test cricket captain announced that they are anticipating the arrival of their second baby together.

On a Friday, Becky appeared delighted, flashing a wide grin from one ear to another as she snuggled close to athlete Pat, who seemed to embody the perfect spouse.

As a devoted follower, I confidently showcased my growing belly in a stylish grey bikini, accessorized with a delicate see-through sarong wrap and a coordinating baseball cap.

Rebecca protected her eyes from the bright sunlight using a pair of dark sunglasses and added a touch of elegance to her beach attire by wearing a silver necklace.

She enjoyed a refreshing swim in the sea during the warm weather, and she and Pat took advantage of the beautiful beach to soak up some sun together.

During their delightful excursion, the pair appeared just as enamored as always, noticeable by their frequent hand-holding and affectionate embraces.

Pat, as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, had a relaxed appearance, donning grey board shorts and a white and olive-colored shirt.

In 2022, Pat and Becky got married and now have a 2-year-old son named Albie. Just recently, they revealed that they’re welcoming another child into their family, which is due soon.

They posted a charming set of pictures on Instagram, featuring Becky showcasing her growing belly while snuggling their cherished child Albie.

“Thrilled beyond words to announce our long-awaited news! We can hardly wait to welcome you into our world and bring even more joy and chaos to our lives,” they wrote in the caption.

Pat’s teammate Mitch Marsh, along with Travis Head’s wife Jessica, Amy (wife of cricket player Aaron Finch), Rachel (wife of Usman Khawaja), and Kara (Becky’s sister) were among the earliest to extend their congratulations on the heartwarming announcement.

Their news comes almost three years after they welcomed Albie to the world in October 2021.

Initially, the pair had documented their emotional transition into parenthood for the first time, starting from when they discovered Becky was carrying a child up until little Albie made his entrance.

In the year 2013, Pat and Becky crossed paths for the first time at a bar located near King’s Cross, when they were both in their twenties. They later began dating, eventually leading up to their engagement in the year 2020.

Originally, the couple planned to get married in April 2021, but they had to push back their wedding date due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Today, our wedding was meant to take place, as Becky expressed on Instagram on April 1st, with a nod to Pat in her message.

Instead, I found myself realizing that I’ve never felt happier, my affection and appreciation for you has never been greater. To a bright future and to many joyful conclusions!

In July 2022, they officially tied the knot at the opulent Chateau Du Soleil, located in the scenic Byron Bay hinterland of Northern New South Wales.

At the age of nine months, Albie participated in the ceremony, being cradled by a wedding attendee nearby, delighting in the heartwarming romantic scene.

The wedding was attended by many famous faces, including comedian Andy Lee and his partner Bec Harding.

Additionally present were cricket players Mitchell Starc, Andrew McDonald, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon (and his wife Emma McCarthy), as well as Tim Paine (and his wife Bonnie).

At present, Pat is temporarily stepping away from sports to make sure he’s well-rested for Australia’s forthcoming summer of cricket. This exciting season includes a much-anticipated Test series against India.

Over the past two months, Cricket Australia has granted him a pause, which is his first significant time away from the game since nearly two years ago.

Rather than participating in Australia’s white-ball tour of England and Scotland next month, he will instead get ready for the upcoming India series by practicing with one-day games against Pakistan in November.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m currently focusing on knocking out an intense workout session at the gym. In a couple of weeks, I plan to reevaluate my progress and chart a new course for the road ahead.

I’m aiming to refill my energy reserves, having bowled continuously for the past two years without a break. I hope to be in top form for the upcoming Test match, a condition I’ve been in for quite some time now.

Moreover, Cummins clarified that choosing to participate in the Indian Premier League and Major League Cricket in the United States wasn’t about him prioritizing one team over his country.

‘This was an interesting year in this gap leading into the summer was always planned,’ he added.

‘MLC arrived later than expected, and despite discussing our schedule, the preparations for the summer remained unaltered.’
