Paris Jackson takes aim at Michael Jackson estate executors over financial mismanagement claims

Oh my god, you won’t BELIEVE this! Paris Jackson is actually fighting the people in charge of her dad’s estate! Apparently, she’s claiming they totally messed up handling millions of his money. I saw the legal papers – it’s all happening in Los Angeles. It’s just awful to see her dealing with this on top of everything else, and I’m so proud of her for standing up for what’s right when it comes to her father’s legacy!

Paris Jackson claims in legal documents that while the administrators of her father Michael Jackson’s estate, John Branca and John McClain, have earned significant personal income from it, they haven’t made smart investments to maximize the estate’s profits.

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles and obtained by Daily Mail, Michael Jackson’s daughter’s lawyers claim she’s worried the management of her father’s estate is being used by John Branca to benefit himself.

The Los Angeles resident stated that those managing the estate should prioritize what’s best for those who will inherit and consistently protect her father’s reputation.

Paris Jackson filed this lawsuit after previously attempting – and failing – to get a review of how the people managing her father Michael Jackson’s estate have handled its finances. Her brothers, Prince and Bigi, are 28 and 23 years old, respectively.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives and lawyers for both the estate and Paris Hilton for additional information about this story.

In a recent court document, Paris alleged that the estate’s co-executors didn’t make any effort to properly invest $464 million in cash held by the estate.

Paris’s lawyers argued that the co-executors didn’t seem to be taking steps to invest the large amount of money and increase the estate’s profits.

Paris was also angry that the estate spent money on lawyers for various legal issues.

According to legal filings, Paris stated that ten law firms received over $4.5 million in 2021 – more than any single person or entity received that year.

Paris said that between 2009 and 2021, executors were paid a total of $148 million.

Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50, after experiencing a heart attack at his home in Los Angeles.

Authorities in February 2010 deemed his death as the result of acute propofol intoxication.

Jackson received a strong medication from his doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray. Investigators said Jackson referred to the drug – which was given through an IV – as ‘milk’ and explained he required it to help him sleep.

The news of Jackson’s passing brought about a huge outpouring of grief and remembrance from fans around the world, both at memorial sites and across social media.

As a devoted fan, I’ll never forget the memorial service for Michael Jackson on July 7, 2009. It was incredibly moving to see his three children there at the Crypto.com Arena (back then it was called the Staples Center). It was the first time they’d been seen in public without masks, and it just added to the emotional weight of the day.

At the emotional service, 11-year-old Paris shared how much she loved her father, describing him as the best a person could ask for, saying he’d been that way since she was born.

A private funeral service for Michael Jackson’s family and close friends took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

After Michael Jackson’s death, Dr. Conrad Murray’s treatment of him came under investigation. Concerns were raised about his decisions regarding the amount of medication he gave Jackson and whether he followed proper safety procedures when administering it.

Investigators determined that Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide. Over two years later, in November 2011, his doctor, Conrad Murray, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and received a four-year prison sentence.

As a lifelong observer of pop culture, I can tell you Michael Jackson’s impact on music is truly unmatched. He wasn’t just popular – he was one of the best-selling artists ever, and his talent was consistently recognized by the industry, earning him 13 Grammy Awards from a remarkable 38 nominations. It’s a career unlike any other.

He received several awards, including a Best Male R&B Vocal Performance award in 1980 for “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough,” and Album and Record of the Year in 1984 for Thriller and “Beat It,” respectively.

In 1993, he received a Grammy Legend Award, and after his death, The Recording Academy honored him with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. He was also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
