Paris Hilton praised for raising staggering amount in 72 hours for LA fires relief after Malibu house destroyed

Paris Hilton recently announced some encouraging updates regarding her efforts to assist Los Angeles fire victims, having herself suffered the unfortunate destruction of her Malibu residence in a previous disaster.

Yesterday, a 43-year-old hotel heir shared a message on Instagram detailing the establishment of an emergency fund by her organization, 11:11 Media Impact, aimed at assisting families and their pets who have been displaced.

In three days’ time, an impressive $800,000 was collected for the affected families due to the Los Angeles fires. Now, let’s aim for reaching a million dollars! A big thank you goes out to everyone who has demonstrated their love and support for our city!

Apart from that, Hilton indicated she’s previously contributed $150,000 towards the GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund. This contribution is intended to offer quick financial aid to approximately 150 families in Altadena who unfortunately lost their houses due to the wildfires.

In Hilton’s words, ‘Cash aid allows for dignity and decision-making power.’ This means that families can determine what they need most at the moment – be it clothing, housing, or medication. By working together, we empower families to rebuild their lives according to their own preferences and secure stability during this difficult period.

Apart from providing monetary aid, Paris additionally lent a hand in assisting the Pasadena Humane Society in reuniting a displaced cat with its family, following the devastating Eaton Fire that burnt down their residence.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I recently came across an heartwarming tale that unfolded in the community of Altadena. After a devastating fire swept through several neighborhoods, a resilient feline was discovered amidst the ashes. In an effort to reunite this cat with its family, I made a visit to the local shelter. As I spent time with this adorable creature, I couldn’t help but feel a connection and reached out to my followers, appealing for their assistance in locating its rightful owner.

Besides making a significant contribution, Hilton also shared that she would match any extra funds raised, up to an additional $100,000, and intends to participate personally as a volunteer.

The mother of two expressed: ‘My sympathies go out to everyone affected by the tragic fires in LA. Although I’ve sadly lost my house in Malibu, my thoughts are with all those who have suffered much more—losing their homes, treasured belongings, beloved communities, and a sense of security.

As a mother, it’s hard for me to fathom the distress and anxiety of not having a secure haven for one’s little ones. So, I am initiating an emergency relief fund through my nonprofit organization, 11:11 Media Impact, to aid displaced families with young children by providing them with much-needed support.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m taking the initiative by personally contributing $100,000 and pledging to match an additional $100,000 raised. I invite you all to join me in this noble cause by donating, so we can collectively make a difference! Let’s come together and do our part!

Approximately 130,000 individuals have been compelled to leave their homes due to persistent wildfires in Southern California, resulting in at least 24 reported fatalities thus far.

For certain high-profile individuals, the fires have come perilously near to their personal spaces, obliterating million-dollar estates in the process.

As a devoted admirer, it’s heart-wrenching to acknowledge that stars such as Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore, and Jen Atkin have been devastated by the loss of their homes due to the relentless fires.

The wildfire relief fund established by Paris was done so after the unfortunate incident where her Malibu residence, as seen on television, was destroyed by fire.

For approximately four years, she and her spouse, Carter Reum, had resided in a spacious beachfront property measuring around 3,000 square feet. Tragically, this home was engulfed by the Palisades fire on a Wednesday.

The couple bought the home for $8.4 million in June 2021, according to Realtor.com.

Hilton, a mother of two one-year-olds with Reum, expressed her deep sorrow on Instagram, describing it as unbearably tragic and impossible to fully express in words.

In that house, we constructed countless cherished moments, as Paris penned. It served as the place where Phoenix made his initial steps and where we envisioned creating a lifetime of memories alongside London.

She continued, “Although the grief is immense, I find solace in being thankful that my loved ones are secure. My thoughts and compassion are extended to all families enduring the hardships of these fires.

To everyone who has sadly lost their homes, cherished memories, and dearly loved pets, my deepest sympathies go out to those still at risk or grieving larger tragedies.
