Paris Fury breaks her silence after suffering tragic miscarriage which saw her world ‘ripped to pieces’ and reveals why she kept the loss a secret from husband Tyson
As I delve into Paris Fury’s heart-wrenching story, I am deeply moved by her resilience and strength. Losing two babies, one stillborn and another through miscarriage, would be enough to break most people. Yet, Paris chose to hold it together, for the sake of her family and home.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share the heartfelt words of Paris Fury, who has finally spoken up following an unimaginably difficult ordeal. Just one day prior to Tyson’s heavyweight loss against Oleksandr Usyk in Dubai back in May, she endured a devastating miscarriage.
The 35-year-old mother shared that their world was shattered into fragments following the death of their eighth child, their son, at six months old. Remarkably, she decided to keep this heartbreaking news from her boxing partner before his major fight.
Paris shared with The Mirror, “I faced a tough question: should I reveal my situation? Ultimately, I decided that while I can’t alter my circumstances, I can significantly impact his life for the better.
In simple terms, Paris shared that she discovered tragic news during a regular ultrasound exam, where no heartbeat was detected. Later on, she had to deliver her stillborn baby naturally. She expressed gratitude towards the team at Lancaster Hospital for their assistance and support throughout this difficult time.
Head-over-heels excited, I held onto my big secret, refusing to spill the beans over the phone while Tyson was away in Saudi Arabia after the match. Though his heartfelt invitations echoed in my ears, I stood firm, knowing that it was best for us both when he returned home to the UK.
‘It does affect the father, but for the woman who carries that child, it is more severe. No matter how much it hurts Tyson, it’s ten times worse for me. But where I’d had time to process the idea, it took him days to face the burial. He said, “I can’t do it right now”,’ he said.
The pair have Venezuela (aged 14), John James Prince (12 years old), Prince Tyson the Second (eight), Valencia (six years old), Prince Adonis Amaziah (five), and Athena (three) as their children.
The tragic incident, being their third miscarriage, led the couple to privately lay their child to rest in a secluded spot. Initially opting for silence, it was only last month that Tyson made the news known to the public.
As someone who has experienced the heartache of a miscarriage, let me share my perspective with fellow mothers: When you’re going through this, it may seem like your world is falling apart. However, I truly believe that we can all find a way to heal. The unbearable pain that consumes us today will gradually transform into a memory. Remember, even though our time together was brief, you were nurturing a precious piece of life. Mentally, I’ve found peace in accepting what happened. Physically, I am doing well.
Regrettably, this isn’t the first instance where Paris chose not to inform Tyson about a missed opportunity due to concern about disturbing him before a match.
In 2018, she concealed her miscarriage from her spouse as he was preparing for his much-anticipated comeback to boxing, which had been absent for nearly three years.
In an interview on This Morning, Paris reminisced about a time when she was overcome with emotion in her car following the news. She felt compelled to put on a brave face and endure the situation since she believed she needed to keep everything under control before Tyson’s major return bout.
She confided in hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, saying, “The situation began a few days prior to a confrontation, and it was still uncertain if he would return to the ring. It was premature, but I felt compelled to conceal it.
She said, “I suppressed my tears and sat in the car by myself, but I managed to hide my distress since I’m the one who holds our family together.
2018 saw Paris discover about her miscarriage on the identical day Tyson Iron Fist staged his much-anticipated return to boxing following a three-year hiatus, battling Sefer Seferi in June. However, she kept it from her spouse until he had already celebrated his victory with a raised hand.
Four years before she experienced a miscarriage, Paris delivered a stillborn infant in the year 2014, at five months pregnant. Since then, she has expressed that it’s an event she will never fully come to terms with.
In the year 2021, Paris openly discussed the heart-wrenching sorrow she experienced following the loss of two unborn children during her journey towards becoming a parent.
2014 saw a heart-wrenching stillbirth, followed by another tragic loss in 2018 during the eighth week of pregnancy, just prior to Tyson’s comeback. On both occasions, she hesitated to inform her spouse immediately.
During Baby Loss Awareness Week, Paris opened up about her own experiences, expressing empathy towards others who have also faced the loss of a baby by candidly discussing the feelings of loneliness that followed her experiences with miscarriage and stillbirth.
