Even though Wicked and Wicked: For Good have been very successful for Universal, director Jon M. Chu has now made a new agreement with Paramount. Chu was in charge of directing both parts of the film adaptation of the popular Broadway musical, and they’ve both become huge hits in theaters.
Okay, so here’s the scoop – I just read that Jon M. Chu, the director, has made a big new deal with Paramount. Apparently, Universal was also trying to get him on board, but Paramount won out. This is a total shift because he previously had a deal with Warner Bros., so that one’s officially over now. It’s exciting to think about what projects he’ll bring to Paramount!
