MGM+ and Paramount+ have set a new TV adaptation of a monumental classic adventure novel.
According to Variety, MGM+ in the U.S. and Paramount+ in the U.K. & Ireland are teaming up to create a six-part television series based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, Treasure Island. The show will star David Oyelowo as Long John Silver, Hayley Atwell as Bess Hawkins, and Jack Huston as Aaron Graham.
