Cooperative Puzzle Adventure Game is a two-player title set in Krakow, where you explore this vast city using an intricate game map. In this game, you and your partner assume the roles of detectives Old Dog and Ally, collaborating to crack complex puzzles akin to escape rooms. The game splits you up, offering distinct items and hints to decipher the mysterious codes left by the Cryptic Killer.

What particularly captivates me about this title is its rich, engaging content, boasting an impressive 80 carefully designed puzzles, approximately 100 comic book pages, and over 10 hours of gameplay. The puzzle variety is intriguing, encompassing a wide range of challenges such as managing water flow systems, deciphering computer passwords to gain access, solving complex lock mechanisms, and much more.
The game offers a lot of fun content beyond the challenging puzzles
Beyond this, you’ll engage in conversations with characters that possess vital information, employing a collaborative dialogue system. These characters will respond to both your actions and words, as well as those of your partner. Furthermore, the game offers visually stunning, hand-drawn landscapes and unique locations that breathe life into its noir-style narrative, complete with captivating comic book-style sequences.
In addition to its intriguing riddles, the game incorporates a bit of amusement and trickery by offering options for you to nudge, shove, squeeze, shock, emit irritating noises, and more – all designed to playfully hinder your partner’s progression. This seems like a fun aspect to me.
The light version of Parallel Experiment is now accessible on Android and iOS devices. If you’re interested in giving it a try, simply download the game from either the Google Play Store or App Store. This demo serves as the second self-contained chapter in the cooperative point-and-click puzzle game series, Cryptic Killer.
