Pamela Anderson’s secrets to embracing her natural beauty at 57: From sunrise walks to her no makeup rule and the one thing she avoids ‘at all costs’

Pamela Anderson's secrets to embracing her natural beauty at 57: From sunrise walks to her no makeup rule and the one thing she avoids 'at all costs'

As a follower who grew up idolizing Pamela Anderson during the 90s, it is truly inspiring to witness her transformation from a sex symbol to a natural, empowered woman who embraces her authentic self. Her journey, marked by her decision to step away from Hollywood and her sex symbol status, is a testament to the power of personal growth and self-discovery.

Pamela Anderson was one of, if not the biggest Playboy model of the 90s.

In more recent times, the Baywatch legend, now 57 and once known for her blonde locks, has moved away from her famous role as a sex symbol of the 2000s and instead showcased her true self to the world.

Approaching the age of 60, she continues to captivate her audience with bare-faced red carpet moments, and in an interview with The Times, she shared her strategies for preserving her genuine charm.

She shared, “It’s important to remember that we’re already great as we are.” Before admitting this, she acknowledged that she steers clear of her phone and social media platforms “as much as possible”.

Before dawn, Pamela prefers to jot down her daily tasks in her diary, then step out to experience nature, making a connection with it first thing in the morning.

In her free moments, Pamela mentioned she typically covers a distance of three to six miles on foot each day. Additionally, she enjoys reading books and watching classic films when she’s not walking.

When she’s not engrossed in literature, you’ll usually find her happily stirring things up in the kitchen.

Pamela dubs her Playboy image as a ‘cartoon character’ rather than her true self.

The icon— who recently shared the heartwarming story behind her forthcoming cookbook — also opened up about stepping back from Hollywood and away from her sex symbol status to Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

In recent times, I’ve chosen to embrace a more au naturel approach to makeup, acknowledging that this shift towards my natural appearance was a deliberate one.

Pondering about going without makeup, she remarked, “That marked the start of me releasing the self-image I’d long held onto.

I’ve brought life to a cartoon character I’ve crafted! Quite entertaining, indeed. Yet, I’ve evolved beyond that persona now,” I expressed.

The Baywatch star was also keen to challenge the idea of beauty and ‘this mask we put on’.

She insisted she ‘didn’t think anyone would even notice’ her ditching makeup, but the world has shown her a new way of viewing herself.

Pamela added: ‘As soon as I took the mask off, the whole world opened up.’

Later, the striking woman opened up about a personal insight she gained from not wearing lipstick – a common experience that shifted her viewpoint on what constitutes beauty.

She playfully commented that it was quite amusing, as she found herself at the Paris Fashion Week, stating, “I won’t spend three hours in a makeup chair. I’ll visit the Louvre instead.

Then I pondered, “Against whom am I measuring myself?” I found myself marveling at the contrast between this woman from Vancouver Island and these extravagant outfits she was donned with.

She remarked, “I felt as if I was that small child with freckles, adorably donning a grand Vivienne Westwood hat.

Pamela is glad to have moved away from the ‘pneumatic kind of image’ people have of her.

She explained to the outlet: ‘As much as I threw every dinner party and cooked all those meals for family and my kids, it wasn’t what was seen publicly. But I also played into the image that was created around me.’

The activist expressed gratitude: “I’m content with what I accomplished, but I’m especially happy where I am right now. To me, the crucial aspect is, I managed to make it through everything. Now, it feels so liberating to be able to just be myself and savor this moment,” she concluded.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that my latest culinary creation, titled “I Love You: Recipes from the Heart,” has just hit the shelves! This cookbook is an extension of my heartfelt memoir, Love, Pamela, where my passion for cooking and sharing love comes alive. Each recipe is a testament to my personal journey and a delicious way to express love in everyday life.
