On Saturday, Pamela Anderson drew attention with an eye-catching hat while participating in a Q&A session for The Last Show Girl in London.

57-year-old actress showcased a stunning tulle gown designed by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood at the premiere of her latest movie, where she was the guest of honor.

Stepping into the Curzon located in Soho, she paired her ensemble with a roomy gray blazer and a corresponding A-line skirt.

Instead of saying “Pamela completed her unique ensemble with a white blouse and high-heeled shoes, choosing not to apply makeup,” you could say “Pamela finished off her distinctive look with a white top and high heels, deciding to forgo makeup.” This maintains the original meaning while providing a more casual and conversational tone.

The actress has been keeping herself occupied in London by publicizing her fresh dramatic film, a recognition for which she’s now been nominated for the very first time at the Golden Globes.

Originally, it was stated that she was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama category for her role as a Las Vegas showgirl, yet she lost the award to Fernanda Torres, who took home the prize for her performance in I’m Still Here.

Previously this past week, Pamela pondered over her hiatus from acting and shared about the sense of melancholy that preceded her remarkable professional comeback.

Discussing her appearance on The Graham Norton Show this coming Friday, Pamela expressed that she was relishing the experience and referred to it as a truly delightful occurrence, considering where she is in her current life phase.

She replied, “I certainly hope it’s a fresh start. I have several projects in the pipeline, and I’m still figuring out my next move.

I’m seeking out demanding roles that push my limits and help me discover my true capabilities. I feel like I’ve barely touched upon my potential so far.

When asked about getting her role in The Last Showgirl, Pamela shared that as soon as she got the script, she felt compelled to seize the opportunity firmly by expressing her determination to play the part with conviction.

She disclosed, “While I was crafting pickles and penning a cookbook, I was also working on enriching my life in countless ways. Yet, there was a sense of melancholy within me, as I felt I still had so many more gifts to share.

‘So, when the script arrived I thought, ”I am going to grab this part by the throat and do it.”’ 

In the final performance, Pamela takes on the role of aging Vegas entertainer Shelly Gardner, who adapts as her show unexpectedly comes to an end.

In relation to the movie’s narrative, she expressed: ‘The story resonated deeply with me, and I felt immense compassion for the main character – I grew fond of her. It’s a heartwarming and tasteful production that avoids any depiction of violence or objectification against women.’

Pamela went on saying: “We filmed the movie in just 18 days, which was quite a whirlwind! Performing as Roxy on Broadway in Chicago served as a precursor for this role, and I am incredibly proud to be involved. I have a soft spot for independent filmmaking, and I can hardly wait to take on more projects like this.

Although she didn’t receive a BAFTA nomination, she will play a significant part in the upcoming ceremony this Sunday.

Or more informally: She didn’t get nominated for a BAFTA, but she’s got an important gig at the event on Sunday.

Pamela not only secured a prime seat for tonight’s event at London’s Royal Festival Hall, but she’ll also be responsible for giving out one of the evening’s most prestigious awards.

According to an inside source, appearing on stage at the BAFTAs carries significant weight for Pamela. In numerous aspects, she feels validated following years of underestimation or ridicule.

Following her recognition with a Golden Globe and SAG Awards nominations, there was much anticipation that Pamela might secure her initial Oscar nod this year.

Sadly, her name was missing when the nominees for the 97th Academy Awards were announced.

Some people see her omission as an insult, but Pamela herself clarified that she hadn’t anticipated being mentioned at all.

‘Oh my gosh, it’s not something I ever expected. Doing the work is the win,’ she told Elle.
