Paige DeSorbo had to refute allegations of infidelity and explain the sequence of events surrounding her sudden breakup with Craig Conover – a development that occurred barely two months following the initial announcement.

On a Tuesday, the star of Summer House, aged 32, firmly dismissed rumors about infidelity that had been circulating online, suggesting she remained loyal throughout her three-year relationship with the 35-year-old heartthrob.

In the three years I was with my former boyfriend, I never engaged in physical infidelity or emotional infidelity towards him, as stated by DeSorbo during their recent podcast episode on Giggly Squad.

The former Southern Charm star posed a question: ‘Could you deceive him in your mind? I’m unsure, but I haven’t,’ and further emphasized their point.

To clarify when they parted ways, DeSorbo stated that she and Conover ended their relationship during Thanksgiving weekend, specifically towards the end of November. She announced this breakup in public about a month later.

Later on, Craig continued with the press for Southern Charm and took care of whatever tasks were required, giving the impression we were still a couple. She shared with her audience that she was okay with this and had given him permission to do so, as he was dealing with things in his own manner. Christmas arrived and passed by.

Following the interview, Paige stated that the six-foot-three celebrity started behaving as if he was unattached, and when she attempted to share about their breakup in a public context, Craig failed to respond.

With the ball in her court, she shared the news via her podcast in December, shocking fans.

Then, the story suddenly changed course at an astonishing pace, implying that I’d been unfaithful, that I’d ended things with him just a week prior to the podcast and had already started seeing someone new,” she explained.

DeSorbo stated that she hasn’t started a relationship with someone else following her breakup, and made it clear that she is currently unattached.

‘Let me say this here and now, I did not move on with some new guy. I am single,’ she shared. 

Let me clarify a few things: I currently do not have a new romantic partner. I remained faithful to my former boyfriend throughout our relationship, and there was an entire month between when we parted ways and now, during which time I did not disclose any information about my personal life.

It appears that Desorbo suggested the possibility that the couple’s relationship might have simply reached its end naturally, without disclosing the specific cause of their separation.

In the context of being in a romantic partnership, events occur within that bond. You assess these occurrences, consider their significance, and determine whether or not you want to continue the relationship. This was her explanation.

‘That’s exactly what I chose to do. I realized I didn’t feel comfortable continuing in that relationship, and fortunately, it wasn’t a surprise for anyone involved; we were all aware of my decision, and no one was deceived.’

She deeply internalized the words she shared during her Giggly Squad appearance upon announcing her split. It was a challenging time for her. Moreover, she expressed very positive feelings about him in her speech.

Previously in January, Craig publicly addressed their separation through Instagram, expressing that the break-up left him ‘extremely surprised.’

In any partnership, both parties are essential. I can’t dictate others’ actions, but I can decide my responses. Always treat Paige and myself with kindness, as well as yourself and everyone else, for the best outcomes.
