NBC’s Medical Show Lands Return Date, One Month After Last Episodes Were Pulled From Schedule

Zachary Quinto plays a neurologist who can’t recognize faces in NBC’s medical drama, a character inspired by the real-life doctor Oliver Sacks. The show was picked up for a second season in May 2025, just four months after its first season ended. Unfortunately, production on season 2 was halted with six episodes still unfinished. NBC removed the show from its schedule before the Olympics in February and hasn’t announced when it might return.

Prime Video’s Reacher series, adapted from Lee Child’s Jack Reacher books, has quickly become a huge hit. Alan Ritchson is perfectly cast in the lead role, and Nick Santora, the showrunner, clearly understands the novels. Fortunately, he’s also leading the upcoming Neagley series with Nicholas Wootton.
