The hit HBO series “Industry” is back for its third season, receiving outstanding feedback after only two episodes. This British drama is gaining more viewers and I have no doubt that this season will be the most significant one yet. The show offers a glimpse into the world of Pierpoint & Co, an investment bank, revealing the good, the bad, and sometimes downright evil aspects of corporate life, as well as how far individuals are prepared to go in order to achieve success. In the first season, we saw recent graduates vying for permanent positions at the bank, while seasons 2 and 3 focus on the journeys of those who make it through.

Just last week, I attended the Hugo Awards at the 82nd Worldcon in Glasgow, Scotland. These awards are a big deal in the realm of genre fiction, recognizing exceptional talent in fantasy and science fiction. If you’re like me, a fan of speculative tales, it’s no secret that we eagerly await the nominated works, authors, and artists each year who receive these prestigious Hugos.

As a die-hard admirer of Jake Quickenden, I felt compelled to share my thoughts on the recent uproar surrounding his wife Sophie. Some fans have criticized Sophie for her response to the gender reveal of their unborn child. However, in my humble opinion, it’s important to understand and support Sophie during this unique and emotional phase of her life. After all, it’s her journey too, and she has every right to react according to her feelings, just as I would if I were in her shoes.

Romance? Check. Enemies to lovers? Check. Plot driven story with fantastical elements? Check. A strong female lead? Check. An epic Princess Bride moment? Check. Literally, My Lady Jane checks all the boxes in what could make a show a great production and one enjoyable for viewers. So I can’t understand why Prime Video has decided to cancel this exceptional series. It’s a huge disappointment.

Working in a band can feel much like being part of a family, and families often have their disagreements. In the movie Art of a Hit, we follow the story of Excelsis, a band that found success in the late 90s but is now struggling to regain their former glory as they reunite to produce another album. This time, however, they’ve chosen an unusual location: a picturesque yet eerie French chateau, owned by the eccentric record producer Charlie (Charlie Sexton). The band soon realizes that reigniting their spark isn’t quite straightforward. To make matters worse, strange events begin to unfold as they spend more time at the castle, with Ryan (Ryan Donowho), the band’s unofficial leader, experiencing particularly disturbing visions.

Viewers have been expressing their displeasure towards Countryfile, alleging that one particular segment seemed pointless or unproductive to them.
