‘The Simpsons Movie 2’ Delayed to Labor Day 2027

20th Century Studios revealed the new release date for The Simpsons 2 on Instagram, along with a funny poster. The movie will now hit theaters on September 3, 2027, over Labor Day weekend. Originally, it was scheduled for July 23, 2027, just before the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons Movie. The poster shows Homer hilariously planting a flag marking the new release date… right in his foot! The old date is crossed out. You can see the poster below.

Her life is turned upside down when her husband, a painter named Lee Ki-dae, is murdered. Prosecutor Baek Dong-hun (Park Hae-soo from Squid Game) quickly suspects Yun-su is responsible. Though she maintains her innocence and claims to have seen a woman fleeing the studio the night of the killing, public and legal opinion turn against her. Yun-su is convicted and imprisoned, leaving her daughter orphaned.
